Father, we pray for our president and brother in Christ, George W. Bush. We thank You for granting us a leader who calls on You. May he grow every day in wisdom, in the love and knowledge of You. Please give him understanding, that he may know how You love him in Christ Jesus. May his life bring You praise.
Lord, we pray for our troops, thanking You for them in the Name of Your Son. Father, we pray for their strengthening, their peace, and their encouragement. May they be protected from harm by the power of Your Name. Please give their families who wait Your peace.
Father, we thank You for the country we live in. We ask for wisdom in the upcoming election. Give each of us good understanding in how we use the right to vote. We pray for Your saints, that the grace of the Lord Jesus might be with His people.
Lord, we thank You that You are our Shepherd, and that You have given us living water. We praise You as the only God, the Lamb upon the throne who takes away the sin of the world. To You, Lord, be all glory, honor, and praise, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
A call to prayer.
I join in prayer for President Bush, the Administration, the election and our heroes standing in harm’s way!
Bring forth word of the many success our defenders have achieved in Iraq and Afghanistan. Thank You, Warrior King, for each and every victory that assures nations will, at long last, breathe free. Delight to reward those who stand in the gap for us ... bless them and their families with long life. Impart the Gospel to each heart ... may it find an eternal home through the Blood of the Lord Jesus Christ. Take hold of the oil situation, Creator God, that oil might flow freely to those in need. Prevent the few from holding hostage the many, that we might continue to prosper through Your Sovereign Grace, to the betterment of all the people, and to the Glory of Your Blessed Name.
We pray for the Peace of Jerusalem, City of Our God. Surround her with the Heavenly Host unto the time when You step inside her walls, at last to bring righteous rule upon the earth. Take from Your people the scales from their eyes, that they, too, might eagerly await the return of Messiah.
In the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, may it be so, O Lord ... may it be so. Amen ...
Amen to your powerful prayer, Irish. Thank you for leading us today.
Amen.
Thank you for gathering in prayer for our nation, president, and troops.
'O God, According to Thy Name, so is Thy Praise unto the Ends of the Earth. Thy Right Hand is Full of Righteousness.' (Ps.48:10)
