ABC News’ Jake Tapper just reported on a startling interview given by Senator John Kerry:
Kerry said that a President Obama would help the US, in relations with Muslim countries, “in some cases go around their dictator leaders to the people and inspire the people in ways that we can’t otherwise.”
“He has the ability to help us bridge the divide of religious extremism,” Kerry said. “To maybe even give power to moderate Islam to be able to stand up against this radical misinterpretation of a legitimate religion.”
Kerry was asked what gives Obama that credibility.
“Because he’s African-American. Because he’s a black man. Who has come from a place of oppression and repression through the years in our own country.”

Look folks. You are missing something.
There’s no doubt that BHO was a member of the United Church of Christ, and a member at Trinity UCC, for many years.
Neither Islam nor the UCC is sypathetic to the United States or Christianity. Islam is rather more fanatical and militant than the UCC, but both are adversaries of the U.S. and Christianity, and both actively hostile.
BHO is a smooth politician, so he aligns himself with the softer UCC than the harder Islam. In the end, the UCC and Islam are allies in the same war.
Don’t get lost trying to prove BHO is Muslim. Serving in Hitler’s army or in Hitler’s propaganda department are both activities toward the same objective.

More importantly, Obama is taking advantage of American's collective guilt over the treatment of African Americans, knowing that he can shout "racism" when people do try to hold him to account for his positions.

One or more of our cities are gonna take it, and take it because self-absorbed leftists in the media, academia, Congress, Hollywood, etc. have convinced the middle of America that small thousands of American lives is too high a burden to pay in what they think is an unnecessary battle against non-existent evil.
So instead, we will lose tens of thousands, or hundreds of thousands, or millions, in the next round of attacks and the concomitant reaction.
It takes a lot of energy, guts, and resources to combat evil, whether evil comes in the form of spiritual attack or in temporal worldly attack.

Remember the 2002-2003 chain email with a “resume” of GW Bush’s accomplishments as president? I wish this sharper-than-the-average-cookie reporterette would solve the vexing problem of who generated that little gem full of lies, half-truths, and irrelevant factoids. It even got airtime on The View, as the idiot Joy Bahar was quoting right and left (mostly left) as if it were some definitive document on the history of the Bush Administration.
