It is not difficult to understand why Barack Obama has a fear of scarves.
In the 17 months he's been pursuing the presidency, the senator has faced a crude and shameless campaign from conservative pundits, GOP functionaries and assorted ignoramuses in the peanut gallery to prove him a secret Muslim -- a ''Manchurian candidate,'' as one put it -- trained from birth to subvert America from within and, I don't know, make us all eat falafels or something.
On about a half-second of intelligent reflection, the flaw in that theory is apparent: If unfriendly forces had indeed inserted a secret Muslim among us, said Muslim would have blonde hair, blue eyes, flag pins out the wazoo and a name like Joe Smith. Too bad intelligent reflection is a stranger to the people in question. With a grim fanaticism, they seize upon every perceived crumb of Obama's ''Muslim-ness'' to press their case, using everything from his middle name to his disdain for the cheap patriotism of the American flag lapel pin to a photo of him wearing native dress on a trip to Somalia.

I have a few questions for Obama's campaign and anyone inerested in researching Obama's background...which when considering him for the President of the United States, we as voters in this Republic have a de facto responsibility to do when any questions arise.

Now, whether or not Obama considers himself Muslim now, whether or not he is willing to admit to his past and upbringing, these questions and his efforts to hide or color the truth of his background are relavent to his aspirations to be President.
If he will not even be truthful about his own upbringing, his own roots...how can we expect him to be truthful about his own stances on critical issues of the day and his ideology as regards the United States?
The answer is plain...we can't.
His own shifting stances on the issues, his own willful associations for decades with virulent anti-Americans and then his attempts to hide from those associations all atest to this.

Personally, I don't think he is a secret Muslim, but what does concern me is if you are raised a Muslin or at least been exposed to Islam and have a affinity for it......................how do you fight radical Islam and are willing to absolutely destroy the radical elements of it within this country and afar.
It matters because muslims by and large fell under the sphere of influence of the former Soviet Union. Throughout the muslim world you find them easily co-opted by marxists who played on their antipathy for European colonizers and/or Jews. Many collectivist regimes are run hand-in-glove with Islam.
Now, of course, you can point out that there are collectivists who are Christian and Jewish, and this is true, but the judeo-christian ethic has proven compatible with capitalism and freedom. Islam hasn't. There's no Islamic influence in the American experiment, and freedom is a foreign concept to Islam as far as I can see.
Some of it has to do with the differing underlying philosophy of the three faiths. To be Jewish is to be chosen. To be Christian is to have faith in God's forgiveness. To be Muslim is to be obedient. Now. Which one of those is most compatible with Marxism?
Whether we like it or not, Marxism and Islam are deeply compatible. The only two details in which they differ is in the State v. God figurehead and the tribalism v. nationalism loyalty. But on the individualism/collectivism continuum, Islam is closer to them than to us.
When "whiteness" has become a codeword for capitalism, which it now is in universities nationwide, when Islam has become a symbol for "non-whiteness," we are looking at the new class war, which melds white/judeo-christian/capitalist into one identity, and non-white/marxist/muslim into the other. The only other.
This coagulation is already well underway. Note that already, blacks who abandon the marxist line of thought are considered by the black community to be "not really black." Black children who do well in school are attacked by other black children as "acting white." Because school is competitive. It's training for capitalism, training for independence.
This is the direction they are trying to move us. So the point of this rather long post is this: If Obama is, in addition to being a marxist, is also perceived as Muslim to the international community, or of having an imprint of cultural islamism (even if it's just from childhood experiences), he is the perfect candidate to solidify this thinking. And that is dangerous to the last free country.
I thought his biological father was married to another woman at the time of birth. So his involvement in the son's life would probably have been minimal. Maybe that's where the Senator got the inspiration for the, "fatherhood does not end at conception" .... part of his last inspirational speech.
We may win a few of the others over...but our most important task is to awaken, inform, and educate those who do not believe Government is the answer and get them out to vote.
In essence, it is the 2004 election rehashed...with a smoother talking, utopian candidate being put forth instead of Kerry.
But, as I say, getting the word out on who Obama really is is the answert...and his character and his decisions, and his associations, all figure into that.
