In describing the reasons he believes the Republicans' presumptive nominee for president would be better prepared than the Democrats' to lead the nation next January, Sen. Joe Lieberman said that history shows the United States would likely face a terrorist attack in 2009.
"Our enemies will test the new president early," Lieberman, I-Conn., told Face The Nation host Bob Schieffer. "Remember that the truck bombing of the World Trade Center happened in the first year of the Clinton administration. 9/11 happened in the first year of the Bush administration."
"But here's the point. We're in a war against Islamist extremists who attacked us on 9/11. They've been trying to attack us in many, many ways since then."
A former Democratic nominee for vice president, Lieberman endorsed McCain for president because, he says, the Democratic Party he joined in the early 1960s is not reflected by the party's current leadership.
He also said that he feels McCain is better prepared to be commander in chief than Barack Obama. "[McCain] knows the world," Lieberman said. "He's been tested. He's ready to protect the security of the American people."

Always, always, always.
Any new president.
One of the top three for the VP slot. Choosing Lieberman would be historic but I prefer that we use the opportunity of a VP candidate to strengthen the conservagtive bench within our own party.

The conceit gathering around Obama, though, is that they won’t test him. And he constantly uses that, implicitly, as one of his main selling points. He figures his background makes him uniquely qualified to take us into the future-—and it does, he sees himself as the agent
to turn us into merely another nation among nations, who will go the way of Europe.
Yep, but worth repeating in this strange world where people seem intent on either ignoring or rewriting history...
We really need to correct the spelling in this visual. It’s “you’re” not “your”. Try to look intelligent.
Mighty.
Mighty.
Hats off.
Well done.
Disregard,the grammer cops....nice post
No, you're (you are) wrong. "You're" is a contraction for "you are". They are interchangeable.
The use of "your" in post #4 is correct. It implies possession. If you change it to "Is you are head up you are ass" it is obvious that the correct form in this context is "your".
However you are correct about “If your (should be you’re) thinking about voting for Obama”.
Right,”Is you are head up you are ass”.Makes perfect sense
If you hadn't added this last sentence to your post you could have gotten away with a "LOL, my mistake". It may take a little more now.
He would be much like Cheney, a valuable asset as VP but unlikely to be President in the future due to his age so he's unlikely to have further ambitions at this point.
No. I take mine back now. He’s both right and wrong depending on which part he was looking at.
I still like it.
Holy smoke guys, libs like to think we are ignorant and it is obvious most of you can’t see the mistake. “If your still thinking...” should be “you’re” or “you are”. This is grammar school stuff folks. Get a grip.
The problem is that “your” was used in three places. The largest font made it look like you were incorrect. It was in the smaller font that the error was placed.
The thing that troubles me the most about McCain, is that McCain seems to believe Lieberman is his friend.
Get your spacing right befor the semi-colon.
But what nation's security is he strong on?
Sorry if I sounded too stern. I have had some lefty friends make nasty comments on how dumb conservatives tend to be. I know this is not true but I have seen this posted 4 times now and have asked for a correction. It is an excellent poster and I’d like to spread it around but not with grade school grammatical errors. I don’t even know where it originated.
Correct. People lose all credibility when an adult presentation appears written by a third grader.
LOL
Just remember in O’s own words, If in the future(which he felt was likely to happen at sometime) there is a war between the US and the Muslims he would be on the muslim side of the fence. His OWN GD words.
Just thinking about that now..Hmm, we are at war with Islam. Who’s side is he on. What is he doing if he said he would take the side of Islam over us. I’m not familiar with his voting record re: war, spending etc but as a possible President of these Great United States how can anyone think about voting for this man. HIS OWN WORDS..... Where’s the GD reporter that’s so worried about emails. Let Ms Allen read his book and question OB about that little piece of meat.
Not a big deal but it was funny. Your was correct in two places and incorrect in one and many posters (including myself) didn’t see what you are referring to because we (I) just looked at the big font where “your” was correct. So, everyone is both write and rong.
Yes the Senator is a Zionist. But what’s good for Israel is good for America too. We have a common enemy after all.

Agreed. Agreed. Agreed. Agreed.
That statement sounds like something a liberal would say. "Dumbing down the English language is okay. Mediocrity is acceptable because we don't want to hurt their feelings."

Thanks bneal, it's embedded in the graphic. and I'm not intelligent enough to correct it.

Maybe the person who created the poster will come forward and fix it. I hope so. I really like the illustration.
Its not so much how many time Obama has been in goofy garments but that he was snorting coke and learning to be a hippie and community organizer in school when, at the same age decades earlier McCain was taking beatings regularly for his country.
You is wrong on your grammar bneal

There are some Morans in my town. They, generally, don’t have brains. So, I “get” this poster. Just sayin’

This Moran isn't too bright.
(...though even more corrupt than stupid)
The “Morans” sign guy is wearing that most identifiable marker of higher intelligence, a mullet.
He’s got an achy breaky brain.
Nonsense.
I like it too . I guess are heads ....
