Prayer Request for a FReeper and Her Husband

I just received an email from a very dear FRiend of mine who wishes to remain anonymous informing me that her husband had a very serious stroke on Sunday morning and will likely be needing surgery to remove swelling on the brain.
This woman is one of the finest FReepers I know, she is a true conservative and a staunch defender of life. She went through cancer surgery herself last year and is now facing this. She and her husband and family need all the prayers we can give them.

Heavenly Father,
Your Word tells us that prayers of faith shall save the sick and that You will lift up those who are weighed down by the troubles of this life. We bring our dear sister and her husband to You, seeking Your powerful hand to move in their lives. You have seen them through troubled times in the past and we know that You will see them safely through this trial as well. Grant healing to this dear husband and allow him to have the complete restoration of his body. We pray for Your comfort and peace to enfold them both, for You are able to bring good to them even in the midst of trouble. Thank You for being their strength and shield. We trust You and love You and praise You for Your goodness and grace. In the Name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
