Bahamas, with my grandparents and I think my uncle. My grandfather was holding me on a wall while I was looking out into the ocean. I might have been 7 or 8.

I’m pretty sure there’s video of it somewhere.

Running around with a large group of kids. The block was full of them.

And riding my bike all over the place.

And going all over with my Dad and my brother. Walking over the Brooklyn Bridge, down to the South Street Seaport, taking a ride (round trip) on the Staten Island Ferry past the Statue of Liberty.

There is so many childhood memories I can’t pick one.

Summers at the shore.

Block parties on my street as a kid. Any party we had.

Any holiday.

Hi, Kathy.

I’m reminiscing about the road trips my family took when I was a kid. My dad loved to travel. East Coast, Hawaii — sorry, we never made it to Alaska.

A PRAYER OF PROTECTION

The light of God surround you
The love of God enfold you
The power of God protect you
The presence of God watch over you
Wherever you are, God is,
And all is well.
Amen.

BLESS THIS HOUSE
 Bless this house O Lord we pray; Make it safe by night and day;
Bless these walls so firm and stout, Keeping want and trouble out:
Bless the roof and chimneys tall, Let thy peace lie over all;
Bless this door, that it may prove ever open to joy and love.
Bless these windows shining bright, Letting in God's heav'nly light;
Bless the hearth a'blazing there, with smoke ascending like a prayer;
Bless the folk who dwell within, keep them pure and free from sin;
Bless us all that we may be Fit O Lord to dwell with thee;
Bless us all that one day we May dwell O Lord with thee.

Hi Kathy. Mostly wahoo, yellowfin tuna, barracuda, and marlin when deep sea fishing. Haven’t been out there in a long time, though. Nowadays I catch a lot of Coho salmon right of the beach, a short walk outside my back door. Good eatin’.

I remember the time, I must have been 9, when uncle Louie took us to the horse races.
I lost all the money I had made on my paper route on a quinnella but it was worth it because of the free cigars.

;)
