Huck PAC Endorses Don Young

Huck PAC, created by former Arkansas Governor and Republican Presidential candidate Mike Huckabee, has officially endorsed Congressman Don Young in his re-election bid for Alaska's seat in the House of Representatives. The endorsement release can be found below and at this link.

Rep. Young

by Team Huck PAC

Representative Don Young is running for re-election in Alaska.

A strong conservative, Don Young's stance on the issues makes him a Huck PAC endorsed candidate.

Don Young has focused on: 1. Making America energy independent. 2. Improving our nation's infrastructure. 3. A strong military and defense.

He currently serves as the ranking member on the Resources Committee.

"Don is one of the few members of Congress to totally understand the critical state of our nation's infrastructure and when I was a Governor and Chairman of the National Governors Association, he was one of the few members of Congress who fully recognized the direct link between infrastructure and job creation and economic development. I consider him a personal friend and have enjoyed duck hunting with him, but I didn't enjoy the fact that he is such a marksman that he put the rest of us to shame" Huckabee said.

"I am at the same time humbled, thrilled, and deeply appreciative of Governor Mike Huckabee's endorsement. The Governor is a true conservative who has motivated and inspired many Americans, including myself, by standing for what is good about and good for our nation. I look forward to continuing to team with Mike and Huck PAC in supporting those same issues that resonate with Alaskans -- life and the preservation of individual liberty, our families and their security, a strong national defense, and less government." Young said.

Don Young's Wrong Way

The NR people think Lt. Gov. Sean Parnell is the ticket. It's hard to disagree with them.

Hucksterbee is a clown too. Why else would he be endorsing a geriatric old fart who championed the "Bridge to Nowhere" over a young conservative firebrand who might actually get something done besides roll over for Pelosi in return for pork?

Birds of a feather . . . you know.

Maybe if Huck funds Young, it will allow the congressional republicans to sit this primary out.

I'll leave it to Alaskan Freepers who are more familiar with state politics there to decide. From what I understand, Lt. Governor Parnell is very similar to the well-liked, competent and gutsy Governor Sarah Pallin. Even if he is only half as good, he'd be an improvement over the go along to get along porker Don Young.

One thing is for certain: We need more conservatives with fire in their belly in Washington, even if it means replacing conservatives with pork lard in their asses.

Please don’t make the mistake of thinking Tax-em Sara is all that popular with the Avg Joe.

The media darling is a media darling.

I think she is, at best, snarky and back stabbing - but that’s me...
