Does he have an ethnicity, or is that a forbidden subject to discuss? From the picture, he could be either white, hispanic, black, middle-eastern... anything but oriental.

What has the crime rate done since Bloomberg took over? And, has graffiti made a big comeback?

Rapes, robberies and murders are up 10% this year under Bloomberg. Grafitti is back. The homeless, mentally ill and violent panhandlers are back in the subways in full force.

From NY1 News:

“The suspect is described as light-skinned and 5-feet-8-inches to 6-feet tall.”

That’s what I suspected. We live near a rail line and since Guliani left the rail cars are once again covered with graffiti and I wondered if there was a connection.
Do you know if New Yorkers are connecting this trend with Bloomberg?

Having been dragged to the Big Sh*tty thrice annually while growing up, and having studied there - NYC is a good place to visit and shop.

It is a dangerous place to live and the locals are socialists willing to make you and yours into prey for every cruel or deranged social predator that stalks the streets.

Then, there is the matter of the predatory (and confiscatory) government predators.

Best of luck living in the socialist workers paradise of NYC.

Well, at least he doesn't stab them 198 times and set them on fire.

If he confined his range to Harlem or Bed-Sty this would be a non-event. It’s when one of these rogue animals slips the reservation that everyone gets their shorts in a tizzy.

This kind of thing happens every day in bad neighborhoods, the victims usually don’t even report it, the cops more or less ignore the reports and the papers could care less.

Of course, just one citizen with a concealed weapon, and this criminal would be out of business, possibly forever.

It's not really his fault. There are no opportunities in his neighborhood. The schools are sub-par. He has no health insurance. He will continue to “act out” until Obama becomes president. And who could blame him?

Members of the NYPD have a rant online where they discuss a variety of topics. They are very unhappy with Bloomberg and his PC Kelly.

They claim that crimes are downgraded to make the crime rate look lower than it really is.

I am sure the Upper West Siders are going to insist on an anti-poverty program to rid themselves of this threat.
