LAGOS: An Islamic court in northern Nigeria has sentenced a female singer to two months in prison or a 5000 naira [$43.28] fine for giving a concert, the official NAN news agency reported Tuesday. Talatu Mai-Gurmi, 34, was sentenced by an Islamic tribunal in the state of Bauchi. NAN said she was arrested by men from the Islamic police along with two other performers who took part in the same concert, which featured traditional music.
The singer pleaded guilty, the agency said. In his judgment, tribunal President Malam Garba Dan-Baba said the court had ruled the singer had contravened articles 95 and 365 of the Sharia penal code.

But unlike the singer, you are in jail for only 3 turns, and not 2 weeks.
These are just a few of the clowns that feed the worlds oil needs, wow do I feel secure.
That’s pretty perceptive. Every Islamic country is like a vast jail - she may as well force the state to pay for her keep.
That said: I hope she comes to no harm.
$43 is probably a yearly wage over there.
