In time zones across the planet An American pastor who made news in April by studying NASA's eclipse calendar to speculate on the return of Jesus Christ to Earth is now planning a worldwide blast of trumpets this fall to get God's attention. The event is still in its early planning stages, with Blitz posting this invitation on his website: ).

"“God wants us to look at the biblical calendar,” he said. “The reason we need to be watching is [because] He will signal His appearance."

"There is going to be a time of great distress, unparalleled since nations first came into existence." (Dn.12:1).

Things are becoming more and more distressing every day.

"When I extinguish you I will cover the skies, and darken the stars. I will cover the sun with clouds and the moon will not give its light. I will dim every luminary in heaven for you, and cover your country in darkness -- it is the Lord God who speaks." (Ez.32:7-8).

That will be a very obvious sign

""From the moment that the perpetual sacrifice is abolished and the disastrous abomination erected: one thousand two hundred and ninety days." (Dan.12:11).

"Blessed is he who stands firm and attains a thousand three hundred and thirty five days." (Dan.12:12).

Start counting when the last Christian church is burned to the ground.

"Immediately after the distress of those days the sun will be darkened, the moon will lose its brightness, the stars will fall from the sky and the powers of heaven will be shaken. And then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven..."Matthew 24:30

In the darkness of the last days, just before he returns, a crack will suddenly appear in the curtain of the sky and the sign of Jesus Christ will shine through it behind the clouds. (Mt.24:30).

Jesus will reappear just as he left, but in reverse.

""...he was lifted up while they looked on, and a cloud took him from their sight...he will come back in the same way as you have seen him go." (Acts 1:9-11).

The trumpets you are mentioning are periods of time, the great revolt, the apocalypse, the wrath, etc.

1 Thessalonians 4:16 (NIV) For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first.

The calling out of the Church or believers. The Father says Bring Forth the Bride". Indeed no one knows that moment but GOD the Father. From that time on the Bible tells us how many days literally before Christ Second Coming to earth. That is marked as an absolute literal time when Israel signs a treaty with the Antichrist. The Trumpet Blast spoken of in relation to Christ Return is rooted in the Hebrew wedding custom. The announcement of the engagement then at the time the Father of the Groom says all things are sufficient and the home is ready He tells the Son to Bring the Bride. That is the Second and final Trumpet.

These two blast are not the same blast as in The Revelation as these pertain to the church and believers. This calling will come from the heavens in the sky and people called up. When Christ comes in the Second Coming His feet will be on earth. Christ has returned many times but not for the church or the people as a whole. He was seen even by Paul. The Return and the Second Coming are two different events.

We are to be as the 5 who wisely waited for the Bride Groom and were called in to the wedding. The others were unprepared and were left out. I believe before the Tribulations come Christ must return and believers removed. After that leaves an unbelieving world and Israel then signs the agreement. Then the time is known of the Second Coming of Christ to the very day. What is going on in Israel has far more to do with Christ return than any other events. Look at her current political leaders. I can't believe things can continue much longer short of GOD's intervention to delay it. Israel politically is ready to sign.

So that would be 2015 AD ? so that leaves the 2012 ( end of the world ) people in disbelief.

Nope. 12/21/2012 is the start. 2015 is at the cutting short part of the 7 years of tribulations, remember it's broken into two 3-1/2 year halves...

To make a long story VERY short( I have the guy's DVD's), The "Day no one knows" is The Feast of Trumpets. It's a Jewish thing just like "Turkey day is Thanksgiving for us. Trumpets lasts 2 day ergo the name. Daniel speaks of 49 weeks of weeks after the gentiles hand over Jerusalem to the Jews and that happened on 6/7/1967. The Jewish calendar is 360 days with 7 leap months every 19 years, so you count the days, ( I think it was 14640 or so, I'd have to go back and look at his figures) from 6/7/1967 and you come out with Yom Kippur 2015 for the day Jesus splits the Mount of Olives and starts His millennial reign. Counting back 7 years( Tribulation), of 360 days each from there you get Sept 29, 2008 as Rapture. The solar and Lunar eclipses in 2015 fulfill another prophesy just like the wise men knew to look for signs in the heavens for the birth of Jesus. Of course all this depends on this guy not miscounting the days and the start day in 1967 being the correct day. Jesus was born on Tabernacles and will most likely appear again on Tabernacles. I had been taught these Feast days for years for their Spiritual importance and knew Rapture would happen on some Rosh Hashanah, but I never figured which one. This guy makes a convincing argument.

If you don't know your Jewish Feasts and Festivals, you need to get on the stick. You don't want to miss this. This is also spoken of many times in Jesus' parables as the foolish and wise virgins, the faithful servants, the parable of the talents, ect.

We aren't the children of darkness but of light. We should know these things.

If you belong to a church that thinks global warming is the issue of the age, or is discussing homosexual preachers, you will most likely be left behind.

Even if you think this stuff is wrong, get the DVD's. They are very good explanations of things Christians need to know in a straightforward way.

One of the interesting things I learned on the DVD's was the Jews will repent and admit Jesus is Messiah in the Tribulation. I knew the 144k would be Messianic Jews, but didn't know Israel as a whole would admit they made a mistake.

Another thing, any temple built in Israel would be by Satan. Jesus will build His Temple AFTER He returns. Many Christians are sending money right now for the new temple and the Red Heifer is supposed to be in Alabama or some such thing right now. They seem to think they need the temple to be built for Jesus to return. All Temples that have been built are dedicated on Tabernacles in a Jubilee year. That will be in 2015, not sooner.

Another thing you may hear is the Gospel must be preached in all the Earth for Jesus to return, so the TV preachers ask you for money to build a tower in Timbuktu. In Revelation, it says an angel will fly through heaven all over the world proclaiming the Gospel at the last of the Tribulation.

"will get God's attention"

God: "Ha... what's going on... what's that noise... I was taking my bi-centential nap and some dufus starts blowing a trumpet...someones getting zapped..."

Sounds like this kook pastor wants to blow trupets so HE WILL GET ATTENTION.

To get God’s attention?

Doesn’t He already know they are going to do this?

This assumes that God isn't paying attention in the first place. Must not have much faith in God's grasp of matters, I'd say.

“But concerning that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father only.” (Jesus speaking in Matt. 24:6)

All numerology must be taken with a (large) grain of salt. The best of the godly scholars of the Jews misunderstood the signs and timing of His 1st coming, and I have no doubt Jesus will surprise us again with His 2nd Coming.

Meditating on Jesus’ answer to his closest disciples about “when will these things come to pass?” above, I believe it is disrespectful, disobedient, unbiblical and therefore even ungodly to set dates and times. When such Christians are wrong they bring derision upon the Church.

Thanks.

Still has that “no man knows the time or day’ barrier to contend with.

Doesn’t stop ups from speculating, though...

Revelation 7
And after these things I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree.

2And I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God: and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels, to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea,

3Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads.

4And I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel.

5Of the tribe of Juda were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Reuben were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Gad were sealed twelve thousand.

I'm not setting a date. What I'm saying is God has set dates in the past and God doesn't change. There are dates that can be speculated on that have the highest probability that God will fulfill His Divine Appointments set in the Bible. I have studied the Jewish Feasts for years now( you can search my user name for such posts) and these dates are Divine Convocations that the Jews were instructed to keep.......forever! The reason for these dates were to reveal Jesus. The whole Bible from Genesis to Revelation is to reveal Jesus. These Feast Days have always been Biblically important from the first Passover to Yom Kippur. The only reason I post these things here is I know for a fact that most church denominations see no meaning in Jewish culture and traditions. Jesus was a Jew, He lived as Jew, He taught in Synagogue, and if you believe as most Christians do, He wrote the Bible so Jewishness is part of Christianity.

Anne Coulter got in trouble by saying Jews need to be perfected, but that's what the Bible calls for. We, as Christians, are "perfected Jews". The final stage for a person's salvation is to be "grafted in" or "adopted into" God's people. This doesn't mean a Jew is automatically saved, but it does mean that God will work His Will on Earth through the Jews whether they believe Jesus is Messiah or not. Just as Pharaoh was instrumental in God's plan for the Jews, and yet he was as pagan as it gets. John Hagee was blasted for his comment on Hitler( taken out of context,BTW), but if God had not allowed the Holocaust, would the world have allowed the state of Israel? Would God have been able to engineer the surrender of Jerusalem to the Jews in 1967 on a certain day so His prophesies could come true on a certain day in the future?

The Rapture will be for the "virgins" that aren't asleep. The faithful "servants" that don't beat the other servants and get drunk saying the Master of the House delay's His coming. The same "servants" that invest their Talents and don't bury them in the ground. There are many more Bible verses on the Rapture than many people seem to know about. Even the Song of Solomon and Proverbs have verses on the Rapture.

My purpose for posting here is to warn believers that the time is shorter than they think and maybe they should be watching closer. It's going to take looking deeper than the milk and digging into the meat to discern these things however. It won't be handed to you on a plate. Just as the Bible says the name of the Antichrist will be know by someone, it won't be know by everyone, or who would willingly follow him? I certainly pray that me and mine won't be "left behind", but I also want as many as possible to be Raptured also. The stiff necked person that is always rejecting information without considering it, may have a surprise coming. I have been in many churches that do the same thing and reject that anyone can know the day or hour even when you read them the verse where Jesus says they CAN know. You are the child of light and not of darkness.

I've had many say "What are you going to do if you are wrong?" I'm just watching as I'm ordered to do. If I'm a fool for Jesus that's fine with me. I will re-evaluate and see what I may have misunderstood. I just don't want to miss the train outta here and if others are asleep, I want to wake them.

Very good post chuckles! I appreciate your spiritual wisdom, as I post on another site that is on religion and spirituality I see so many who refuse to believe this but I more or less think they don’t want to believe because if you do not know the Lord or deny him than what you have is fear intense fear of what will soon take place on earth rather than the Joy the Hope the Glorious excitement that believers have in spite of what takes place on this earth.
As Jesus promised a Perfected earth and heaven..
God Bless...

Many things related to prophecy which could not be understood even a generation ago. Israel reborn in a day and recognized by the world. The ability for all the world to see the streets of Jerusalem. Modern communication has made it possible for the world to hear the Gospel as well. I can't think of a nation where it hasn't been. Like you I also believe many of the answers lie in the Jews customs spoken of in Christ time on earth. Those too have been hidden till better understanding of the customs of that day were learned.

In Daniel it doesn't say we are not to know of these events & understand them when it's time, but rather they are/were to be revealed in the age where knowledge, communication, and travel became more increased. I believe we're there.

The only Temple man needs to concern himself with right now is the one GOD gave each of us. Keep it ready. The Temple meaning our bodies here on earth and keeping our hearts ready for His return.
