I did. She started complaining that I wasn't doing them right!
Boy I heard that.
Try to help out, ask a few questions of the GF (what goes where etc), and next thing I know she's in the kitchen butting me out of the way. I'm not doing it right. I don't put the flatware in the basket right, all sorts of silly nit picky crap.
After a while you just throw up your hands and say what's the use? And you still get crap for not helping out. [sigh].
I finally figured out it was better to do all that stuff when she wasn't around.
