A lie, no matter how often told, is still a lie.
Waxman needs a colonoscopy with an industrial vacuum truck...
I guess Waxman isn’t content with an approval rating of only 9%.
These dolts won’t stop the nonsense until they reach 0. The same rating as the dopey MSNBC shows that continue to cover this non-story.
Yeah, and up his noses, too.
Meanwhile, gas prices soar, dollar sucks, Iran continues to build a bomb....etc etc etc. But hey instead of tacking the real issues let’s harp on this some more.
Nostrildamus is such an a$$.
Someone with a mirror should threaten Waxman with it.
Maybe Cheney himself should just tell Waxman to go “F” himself.
It appears that about 91% of us hold congress in contempt. Is Waxman going to arrest all of us?
I guess the Special Council didn’t think it was useful.
Mr. Waxman, please identify the current criminal trial that requires this information
The Pigman doesn’t get the separation of powers, does he? The Plame issue would seem to be settled with the shipment of the Iraqi yellowcake to Canada...we now know with 100% certainty that Joseph Wilson lied. We also know that his wife lied when she told Waxman’s committee that she didn’t play a role in the choice of Wilson to investigate in Niger. If Waxman had any interest in the truth, he’d have her charged with lying to Congress under oath, but then again, we all know that isn’t his interest here.
Yo Henry, seen this?
Congressional Approval Falls to Single Digits for First Time Ever
Tuesday, July 08, 2008
The percentage of voters who give Congress good or excellent ratings has fallen to single digits for the first time in Rasmussen Reports tracking history. This month, just 9% say Congress is doing a good or excellent job. Most voters (52%) say Congress is doing a poor job, which ties the record high in that dubious category.
I suppose PigNose feels his antics will raise their record setting approval rating. FAIL!
And, for the record,
The document in question is an interview Cheney gave to the FBI in the investigation of the leak of the identity of Valerie Plame Wilson, a FORMERLY covert CIA agent.
The MSM just isn't gonna tell the truth about this.
Their own idiotic people started moveon.org. I think it’s time for them to do just that.
Yellowcake, Patience, Valerie Plame, Joe Wilson, GWB, & St. Pauls Tombstone Books
I was looking forward to single digits for the traitorous democrat scumbags months ago and knew it would happen but Zero is even better!!!!
waxman is a moron who needs to trim his nose hair.
"The amazing thing about this incident, in addition to the obvious miscarriage of justice, is that at the root of the controversy was an erroneous report by Valerie Plames husband. Joseph Plame, who parlayed his report into a public scandal with the help Democrats, the ever-investigative Fitzgerald and the Democrat Party house organs, has been proven to be totally wrong.
Those who harped on the Bush administration and its members for both the leak and for going to war in Iraq despite a supposed lack of evidence of a nuclear program by Iraqs monstrous dictator and his sons should by all rights be made to suffer the same indignities visited upon President Bush, Vice President Cheney, their aides and especially, Lewis Libby.
Today we know that Iraq did possess 550 metric tons of yellowcake the seed material for higher-grade nuclear enrichment.
The effort to topple Hussein and cause regime change was indeed necessary to prevent the development of nuclear weapons. We know this because it has been revealed, albeit without the fanfare of the earlier scandal, that this huge stockpile of concentrated uranium, a remnant of Hussein nuclear program, was removed from Iraq and shipped to a buyer in Canada.
It should be a great relief to the world to know that Hussein was not given enough time to further develop his nuclear program because President Bush defied his critics and took action to abort this threat."
Thanks....what a POS....
We are still harping on about Plame? I thought that that issue was done, even Chris Matthews is more focused on Obama making him “happy” than about The Great Fitzmas Carol. In fact it died down after it was revealed that the source was Richard Armitage.
Waxman is ridiculous. I might not agree with many issues in the book, but State of Emergency gets it very much right. We care a lot more about “Going Green” or “Who Outted Valerie Plame” than about Illegal Immigration, Terrorism, Why Iraq was a threat with Saddam in charge(through documentation) or Gas Prices. If our nation is committing suicide, people like Waxman are helping it out. C’mon Waxman, we want to hear about “REEL IMPORTENT ISSUES” like the Firing of 9 US Attorneys. C’mon, for the good of the country you can SAVE the constitution. (sarc.)
I am truly sick of these people. If I didn’t have to hear at least one Liberal talking point in our popular culture for a minute I would be happy. It is just so funny, maybe they should subpoena OBL or some other Terrorist. But than Subpoenas to this Congress are like UN resolutions to Iraq.
Replies I would love to see:
“But hey instead of tacking the real issues lets harp on this some more.”
This is all most of the Dems in these committee chair positions are capable of doing. The masses can be divided into two...players and scorekeepers. The Dems are scorekeepers, armed with an acute case of paranoia.
I would tell Piggy nose Waxman to stuff it up his nostrils.
Because of crap like this... it is no wonder this is the worst rated congress... EVER!
Speaking of the former covert agent, her cover was blown by the KGB back in the 1990’s, and there was also the incident down in Cuba involving secret documents being routed through the Swiss embassy to which the Cubans were able to see what was contained in those documents.
And if she ever was covert at the time of Novak’s article, then why was she assigned to a job where she was walking in and out the front door of CIA headquarters every day? Why did they do the Vanity Fair cover shoot if her life was in danger? If the enemy didn’t know what she looked like then, they sure as hell know what she looks like now. Then there is Wilson’s own New York Slimes op-ed piece that detailed his “secret” mission to Niger.
All in all, waxman is a disgrace to this country and should be kicked out of congress for wasting our time and money.
Waxman schedules contempt vote against Mukasey for ignoring Plamegate subpoena

A BUZZFLASH NEWS ALERT
by Amy Weiss
Attorney General Michael Mukasey has ignored a subpoena issued June 16 by the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform asking for documents relevant to its Valerie Plame leak investigation, including FBI interviews with President Bush and Vice President Cheney.
Committee Chair Rep. Henry Waxman (D-CA) sent Mukasey a letter July 8 informing him that the Committee would vote July 16 on whether or not Mukasey will be found in contempt of Congress.
Waxman said, in order to accommodate Mukasey’s assertion of “core Executive Branch confidentiality interests and fundamental separation of powers principles,” the Committee would no longer seek President Bush’s interview.
However, Vice President Cheney’s must be produced.
Libby had told the FBI it was “possible” Cheney instructed him to inform members of the press about Plame’s identity.
Special Counsel Patrick Fitzgerald, the prosecutor in the Scooter Libby trial, responded to the Committee’s requests for documents and told Waxman he knew of no agreement that would prevent the interviews from being shared with the Committee:
I can advise you that as to any interviews of either the President or Vice President not protected by the rules of grand jury secrecy, there were no “agreements, conditions and understandings between the Office of Special Counselor the Federal Bureau of Investigation” and either the President or Vice President “regarding the conduct and use of the interview or interviews.”
The Committee’s renewed investigation comes after Libby’s FBI interview and Scott McClellan’s tell-all book.
As Waxman wrote to Mukasey on June 3, the leak allegations “cannot be responsibly investigated without access to the Vice President’s FBI interview.”
Change is to was and you have his biography......
Waxman is ridiculous.Waxman is ridiculous.Waxman is ridiculous.Waxman is ridiculous.Waxman is ridiculous.Waxman is ridiculous.Waxman is ridiculous.Waxman is ridiculous.
Cheney is no pussy ... Stick it to him, Mr. Vice President.
Nostrildamus sees a subpoena in the future.
You mean Nostrildumba$$?
You cannot suck a vacuum even with an industrial-sized street sweeper. There is obviously no connection between his mouth and his brain ( ethics bypass inline booster).
I hope Henry gets stuck in an elevator and has to smell his own farts.
Michael Mukasey to Testify Wednesday on the Hill
Attorney General Michael Mukasey is getting ready for his third congressional oversight hearing Wednesday.
Preparation is the key word. Justice officials say he has cleared his schedule and there are no public events in his agenda in the next few days ahead of his appearance before the Senate Judiciary Committee.
Mukasey’s last oversight hearings in January and February were dominated by legislators’ questions about the still-ongoing investigation into the destruction of the CIA videotapes.
He also was grilled about whether he planned to revisit the department’s past legal opinions on the use of harsh interrogation techniques. Mukasey declined to do so.
A Senate aide says topics have not been defined for the hearing, but questions from senators could cut across an entire spectrum of issues.
They include revamped national security rules for the FBI, hiring practices as outlined in a critical inspector general’s report issued last month, and the recent Supreme Court decision in Boumediene v. Bush, which forced the department to review some 250 detainee cases.
Dum de dum dum
In light of your actions, I am writing to inform you that the Committee will meet on July 16, 2008, to consider a resolution citing you for contempt of Congress, Waxman wrote.
All I can say is I have contempt FOR Congress........
He should tell him he’ll turn it over in 24 business hours...
Waxman is playing to the people who don't understand tyranny.....the democrats.
A few months ago Waxman was at the same coffee shop as me, getting interviewed for some TV station. He would look at me and smile and I was kind....just hoping that he could come my way and introduce himself to a constitutionalist who was ready to give him a vision of hell on earth.
"More dead horses being beaten by congresssionl democrats".
"PETA is outraged"
Sorry .. the red blob was a pic of Cheney that doesn’t link, for some reason.
Chairman Waxman, f*** you, your side of the committee, your party, your Speaker, and the horse you rode in on!
waxoff is at it again...
