This dooms Franken. The thing about “The Body” is if he wins he will quit two months into the term.

Now there are two clowns running against Coleman. Should be interesting.

Great minds think alike - that was the first thought that came to mind.

Yes, maybe Jesse can tell the senate how all his frogman buddies would have dealt with the issues.

I heard that they were going to fence Minnesota in and declare it a national zoo.

you decide: if you were in a dark alley which one of the three of us would you want with you? Because that is exactly why we need Senators - for those times when we are caught in a dark alley and nobody is there but our Senator.
My Senators are Susan Collins and Olympia Snowe.
I can't tell you how many times I've been caught in a dark alley with one or the other of them.

All Coleman has to do to win now is pander to the social conservatives in Minnesota hard.

“if you were in a dark alley which one of the three of us would you want with you?”
i.e. would you rather be mugged by Coleman, beaten up by Ventura, or solicited by Franken?
To: GraniteStateConservative
Or at least the sane people in Minnesota, provided there are any left.
To: Impy
I love listening to his weird, steroid-deepened voice.

All you Minnesotans take a good hard look at all three of us. And you decide: if you were in a dark alley which one of the three of us would you want with you? Since Ventura is an ex-wrestler, I would probably choose to have him by my side "in a dark alley." But precisely what does that have to do with one's being qualified for the Senate, or possessing desirable policy views?
Major non sequitur.

Okay Minnesota... you’re taking the washed-up celebrity worship thing a tad too far here.
