I saw the musical here in Las Vegas. I genuinely enjoyed it. There was only one thing that bothered me, and it wasn't the Jersey boys lighting up a cigarette. It was the very frequent use of the “F” word. Obviously to the person objecting, smoking a cigarette is a greater sin than having a vulgar mouth.

The Four Seasons' milieu was grimy working class northeastern dives. Colorful language was a given.
