Jesse Jackson Tape: Open Mic Catches Audio of Disparaging Obama Remarks

Jesse Jackson would like to tell Barack Obama that he is sorry for ripping the presumptive Democratic Nominee with comments that are said to be very nasty and according to a report from CNN they are too bad for them to say on the air. One report notes that conservative radio host Sean Hannity revealed on air that that Fox News is in possession of an exclusive tape of Reverend Jesse Jackson, recorded after an interview when he thought the microphone was off, slamming Barack Obama for “talking down black people on matters of faith” among other issues.
Jackson told CNN that the interview had wrapped up and he didn’t realize his remarks were captured by a “hot” microphone. In a helpful tip to folks like Jesse Jackson that they might want to understand that all microphones are live and hot and all cell phone have cameras and video.
One blogger says that Jackson said he would like to rip a part of Barack Obama's anatomy off and Hannity would only say that it begins with an "n" and is below the waist. Fox News says they will now broadcast the highly anticipated tape tonight (and a whole bunch of times after) live on the Hannity and Colmes show.
That should deliver some huge numbers in for the channel and it will be interesting to hear the entire conversation and what Jesse Jackson really thins of Barack Obama.

This story stinks like rotten fish. A seasoned media pro like Jackson doesnt forget theres a mike in the room, or “assume” it isn’t on.
What’s his angle?

It drives me nuts when they won’t report the whole story, and make us wait. Absolutely nuts.

Perhaps we buy the same aluminum foil? :-}
Or perhaps we have both been around too long not to be suspicious of anything Jesse Jackson is involved in.

Jackson wants something from Obama; or, Obama promised Jackson something for making a scene. Either one could be true.

I just hope the audio quality of the tape doesn’t make it sound like it was monitored along the Ho Chi Minh trail in ‘70. If it sounds like someone recorded a waterfall and added subtitles, I’m going to be disappointed.

LOL; who knows what these folks say or why they say it. All we know, is THEY say it, but if WE say it, WE are the racists.

I'm thinking it's an organized effort between the Obama camp, Jackson, and the MSM to provide cover for the fact that Obama voted in favor of the FISA amendment today. The loony left has had their knickers in such a knot over a sense that Obama is betraying them as he moves to the center. This latest, the FISA vote, could ignite a real Barack-backlash from the moonbats. But, if everyone on the news is talking about Jesse Jackson, and playing the tape over and over...and over...well.

This story stinks like rotten fish. A seasoned media pro like Jackson doesnt forget theres a mike in the room, or assume it isnt on. Its not that they forget, but Dims are so used to the media being in the tank for them that they forget that the same doesn't apply to badmouthing fellow travelors.
Do a brain check and you will recall that Dhim "flubs" always appear to be about fellow Dhims. Is that because they don't say such things about conservatives? Nay. Its because the media ensures anything that's good for conservatives doesn't see the light of day.

Both JJ and Reverend Al stood back and declined to support Obama early on, probably thinking he had little chance of winning the nomination. They became supporters eventually, but I think there is a deep jealousy and resentment that this Barack-come-lately came along and had the most success ever for a black man in presidential politics, stealing the spotlight and attention from the old timers.
And, Obama knew he had to get beyond being the black candidate to have a chance, so he hasn’t pandered to black interests and old power players as much the old timers would have liked.

The original comments referenced Obamas speeches in black churches. Jackson said in a written statement he was trying to emphasize that Obamas moral message should not only deal with the personal and moral responsibility of black males, but to deal with the collective moral responsibility of government and the public policy.http://elections.foxnews.com/2008/07/09/jesse-jackson-apologizes-for-obama-remarks/

I'll tell you what this is. Jackson, Sharpton and fellow race hustlers are livid that this Nimrod Obama is stealing their thunder AND their money from contributors. It's making it difficult for them to race-bait and demagogue properly.

How jaded are we! A “Reverend” complains about a presidential candidate not respecting Christianity and its adherents. Somehow this becomes a conversation about race, Fox, and democrats. The paradox is the fact that a “reverend” of Christianity (loosely) saying that he would like to “rip off the nuts” of anybody. One would assume that reverends don't say such things and if one does then he holds the owner of the said nuts in the vilest contempt. Perhaps a crusade is in order?

He may be well 'seasoned' with the media but he is also a raging far-left loon. I don't have any trouble imagining that he just lost it, although a conscious plan to make Obambi look like the 'centrist' must also be considered. Still, I really doubt that Jesse would have been quite so nasty if he was simply trying to make Obambi look like a centrist - Jesse could have expressed disappointment and frustration without quite the same level of crude hostility if it were really an intentional 'leak'......
