Germany plans to give vote to babies (*rme* How ridiculous)
Telegraph ^ | July 8, 2008 | Harry de Quetteville in Berlin

Posted on 07/09/2008 5:31:28 PM PDT by Kaslin

Dozens of German politicians have tabled a new law to extend voting rights to babies, toddlers, children and teenagers.

The bill, which has won the cross-party backing of some heavyweight German politicians, would wipe away decades of "exclusion" and "discrimination" against minors, according to its supporters.

Currently the voting threshold in Germany is 18, with an exception in some states, where 16 year olds are allowed to cast a ballot.

But that does not go far enough for the new law's backers, who want to ensure voting rights from cradle to grave. If the bill gets adopted, babies will have the same powers to voice their opinion on government handling of macro-economic performance in a global downturn enjoyed by their parents.

Toddlers will be able to take a stand on issues such as whether German armed forces should be deployed abroad.

This is a joke, right?! This has GOT to be a joke. Although in a weird way, it makes sense: a core tenet of liberalism is to infanticize adults (naking them dependent and therefore easier to rule over), so the reverse fits their tactics...

I won’t rest until ALL my DOORKNOBS are given their RIGHT to vote. I must have about 100 doorknobs in my house, and EVERY ONE is special to me, and worthy of suffrage and not to be disenfranchised.

Then I say let the todlers drink. Yes let every human drink liquor as soon after they are born as possible. Let them have sex. Lets give them drugs. Let’s let them drive. Let’s give them a loaded gun.

The age of majority has become day one. Hip hip hooray!

Hey, I saw a cute 15 day old the other day... you two would get along famously. Good thing the parents don’t have anything to say about it.

Europe’s populace just collectively pulled out a bugger. Oops, before they could eat it, their collective head caved in.

No actual loss really.

Here kitty kitty kitty. Say, could I register you to vote for Merkel? Oh nevermind, let’s register you and we’ll talk about it later, over dinner.

But that does not go far enough for the new law's backers, who want to ensure voting rights from cradle to grave.

Why stop at the grave?

In some states you get a vote as long as a Democrat can make your name on the headstone.

The Dems will do that here next. If the dead can vote why not babies.

Afterwards, of course, the Democrats will ramp up abortions in a BIG way...because if the 'dead' vote for Democrats, and 'babies' vote for Democrats, then 'dead babies' will bring them a landslide...

The Dems will do that here next.

Years ago, Phyllis Kahn (DFL) 59B - Minnesota House of Representatives, pushed a bill to allow 12 year old children to vote in Minnesota.

Thankfully, that bill failed, but it's scary the things Dems will do to keep and gather ever more political power.

I hear ya! I have a large drawer full of pennies, of various ages, and they’re all chomping at the bit to pull the lever, and they can’t understand why they’re not allowed to vote but pesos are.

I hope California will soon allow cats to vote. I will be delighted to help my five cats to cast their ballots correctly. Of course we will all vote absentee as I just can't depend upon them to stand in line properly while waiting to cast their ballots. They are so easily distracted. Luckily German babies won't have those problems.

Seriously, that really makes a mockery of voting. It just cheapens the vote and makes it meaningless.
