Pelosi says House Judiciary may hold hearings on Kucinich impeachment resolution
Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) said this morning that the House Judiciary Committee may hold hearings on an impeachment resolution offered by Rep. Dennis Kucinich (D-Ohio).
Kucinich is expected to offer a "privileged resolution" this afternoon calling on the House to look at whether President Bush should be removed from office for lying to Congress and the American public when he sought congressional approval back in 2002 for taking military action to invade Iraq and overthrow Saddam Hussein.

9% approval rating.
Does any one else think it is time to BOMBARD THIS PIECE OF FACE???????
I’ll be calling her office everyday..... I have heard she will not bring energy bills up for votes, knowing they will pass. shame on her.
Politics as usual. Congress, a Dem Congress, does not want to work ‘for the people’ when they can advance partisan ideology and vindictive against a hated foe!
Do we really have to keep paying these people? For Gawds sake, Bush is almost done with his last term.
What a bunch of losers.
Worst, they are running my country and we may all be losers.
Go ahead, make my day. Let’s have this impeachment nonsense be part of the presidential campaign discussion.
Do they really think this is a smart political move? Face it, politics are a big part of any impeachment effort. I thought in the past that Nancy had silenced talk about impeachment among her fellow Dems. Maybe she had some political smarts, and knew what a huge distraction a serious impeachment effort would be, with little to gain politically.
As a practical matter, it’s absurd since Bush leaves office in six months anyway.
...surprisingly,Congress and the MSM wonder why the rating so low. Pelosi bottoms the list, I give her a 1% and that’s only because there could be someone worse.
I’m so glad they finally found the most significant issue facing America today and are working on the solution! /s/
Just like the left wing wacko protesters at the RNC convention, the GOP should do everything to support this effort to show America on live TV what the left is all about.
Thus far, without exception, the GOP is DOA. Very, very, very weak....at best.
“I give her a 1% and thats only because there could be someone worse.”
Yeah...Kucinich. lol
Bring it on BABE ....ughhh .. makes my skin crawl using BABE in relation to the haggard has been
You'd think she would want to do something to improve that rating.
More important issues, can’t these people prioritize? OIL , they should be working on opening up ANWR.
These AIRBAGS..have they nothing better to do????
We are paying these pretenders huge sums of money each month to waste our time doing dirty politics instead of taking care of the business of the nation?
For each one who takes part in this face - let’s keep a list so we know for future who is more interested in vendetta than smooth government.
Pelosi and her Henchman/Troll should be removed from office
themselves.
Yeah, that will lower gas and food prices. You go girl!
What???? .... the spineless, gutless “wonders” do anything ...... I wnat some of the good stuff you are smoking just haveing a thought like that ......
Less than six months before the next Presidential election...and about eight months before the next inauguration, and they want to entertain impeaching the President? Surely, if there were even a remote shred of evidence they could use to bring charges against President Bush, they would’ve already done so. Congress is also on summer recess, which gives them what—about two months of being “in session” before the end of the year? What could they possibly accomplish? It would be a “Kangaroo Court” in its highest form.
Of course they’ll have hearings, right before the elections, and the MSM will cover them gavel to gavel, repeating every partisan smear as if it were fact. Can’t miss this opportunity to help Obama.
Wow she must really think a 9% approval rating is too high.

It was, after all, Californias Nancy Pelosi who had warned the nation on December 16, 1998, during Operation Desert Fox, that Saddams development of WMD technology . . . is a threat to countries in the region. During the House debate in October 2002, Pelosi sounded the same urgent theme, summing up a threat whose imminence the Democrats had been insisting upon for years. Yes, reiterated the tireless Pelosi, [Saddam] has chemical weapons. He has biological weapons. He is trying to get nuclear weapons.
Politics as usual. Congress, a Dem Congress, does not want to work for the people when they can advance partisan ideology and vindictive against a hated foe!
the sad fact is that with a 9% approval rating, most of these incompetent b@stards ( democraps and rino’s ) will be overwhelmingly re-elcted....there is only one solution, FIRE THEM ALL, the short, the tall, the big and the small..

Diversion, revision and subversion. Typical dim tactics when things are going bad.
"As a member of the House Intelligence Committee, I am
keenly aware that the proliferation of chemical and
biological weapons is an issue of grave importance to all
nations. Saddam Hussein has been engaged in the development
of weapons of mass destruction technology which is a threat
to countries in the region and he has made a mockery of the
weapons inspection process."

I think it’s time someone asked her if she was aware of how low Congress’ approval rating is and inform her there is a reason for it. Of course as arrogant as she is I’m sure she wouldn’t care.
I have wondered the same thing, but, when someone is making a complete fool of themselves, why get in the way?
But don’t worry, Nancy, that gas is over $4 a gallon. Just keep worrying about nonsense. Useless.
oh please oh please oh please oh please oh please oh please oh please oh please oh please oh please oh please oh please oh please oh please oh please oh please oh please oh please oh please oh please oh please oh please
In case it was missed, I’m all for them idiots introducing articles of impeachment in the House.....especially before Election Day.
LMAO!!!
That scumbag Pelosi will do ANYTHING to avoid bringing an energy bill to the floor, thereby upsetting the enviro money-laundering wing of the Democrat campaign funding machine!
Great post!
Don’t these idiots have anything better to do then destroy the economy or embrace foreign nincompoops on Congre$$ional junkets?
Here’s an archive of quotes and links to the sources of Democrats talking tough in 1998 and in 2002.

How many months per year are in your calendar, Lou?
It's July 10th today, so let's count together: August, September, October, November. How many months is that? I count four. A few days less than four more months until Election Day, November 4, 2008.
Then, to Inauguration Day, we continue counting: December, January. How many months is that? Seems like it's two more months, for a total of a little more than six months until Inauguration Day, January 20, 2009.
This is a dead horse. But I did make a prediction some time ago that this would happen. The dims thrive on rotting horse meat as do all maggots.
“No everyone, don’t look over there at gas prices, look over here at what we are doing! Never mind that it won’t produce a drop more of oil! Never mind that it will amount to nothing in the end because it takes 67 Senators to convict and remove from office!”
Good one.
that’s because her man obama’s not doing very well
and needs some help.
The Communist Party (Democrats) have taken control of our Country. Civil War in future, keep your powder dry.
No energy bills or vote on Columbian Free Trade..
If I were Bush, I would take this to the American people and demand a vote...

Contact your Congress critters to let them know that you are tired of high gas prices.
CLINTON: "Good evening. Earlier today, I ordered America's armed forces to strike military and security targets in Iraq. They are joined by British forces. Their mission is to attack Iraq's nuclear, chemical and biological weapons programs and its military capacity to threaten its neighbors. The hard fact is that so long as Saddam remains in power, he threatens the well-being of his people, the peace of his region, the security of the world. The best way to end that threat once and for all is with a new Iraqi government -- a government ready to live in peace with its neighbors, a government that respects the rights of its people." President Clinton December 16, 1998 Address to the America People
Trivia question, if something happened to the Pres and the VP who are the next two in line to take over as POTUS?
