Democrats Wave Goodbye to Lieberman

WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Despite assurances to the contrary from Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, Democratic insiders are certain Sen. Joseph Lieberman next year will be kicked out of the party's caucus and lose his Senate chairmanship if he addresses the Republican National Convention in St. Paul, Minn., as planned.

Lieberman's Democratic colleagues willing to accept his support of Sen. John McCain for president consider speaking to the GOP convention as the last straw. Lieberman was re-elected from Connecticut as an independent in 2006 after losing the Democratic nomination because of his support for the Iraq war.

Lieberman was re-elected from Connecticut as an independent in 2006 after losing the Democratic nomination because of his support for the Iraq war.

The only real difference between Lieberman and his dem cohorts is he's not hypocritical about supporting regime change in Iraq and the absolute offense we had to take in the WOT.

The other dems don't care about their past words being completely opposite from what their traitorist words are now. That's the only difference, Lieberman is still a liberal dork!

It was a Spanish Communist who killed Trotsky in a city near Mexico City.

The Spanish Communist gained access after sweet-talking an American Communist female assistant of Trotsky.

The axe may have been found, and Trotsky’s great grand daughter is a recent appointee of the National Drug Abuse Institute, or some similar federal organization.

Don’t ask me how I know all of this.

I am in Mexico for a while (legally, I tell you, legally).

This article mentions that Trotsky’s great grand daughter is the head of a federal agency concerning drug abuse (she is an M.D. and apparently a Bush administration appointee), the controversy about the murder axe, and that Trotsky worked as a paid movie extra in New York in 1917.

He apparently applied for asylum to the United States while in Ensenada, Mexico.

The US denied him asylum, and he landed up in Mexico City.

http://www.luxner.com/cgi-bin/view_article.cgi?articleID=1389

Trotsky was an evil individual responsible for the murders of many, he was the older version of Che.

Aproveche (enjoy).

Currently, the Democrats need Lieberman to maintain control of the Senate. With Lieberman voting with the Democrats, the Senate is split 51/49 with Democrats in control. If Lieberman switched to the Republicans, the Senate would be split 50/50 with Cheney as tie breaker and the Republicans in control.

The Democrats are assuming that they will pick up at least one more seat next session, probably more. So they will no longer have any need for Lieberman and he will no longer have any leverage.

Of course they are going to dump him. Their liberal base is demanding it.

If McCain wins, Lieberman will get a cabinet position, probably Secretary of State. If Obama wins and the Democrats pick up even one more seat in the Senate, then Lieberman will have no power whatsoever.

So ends the story of the "honorable" democrat party. The party that once included Harry Truman, Scoop Jackson, Zell Miller, and finally Joe Lieberman is gone, and in its place is the party of Carter, Clinton, Obama, Waters, Jackson-Lee, Rangle, Conyers, and Wexler. The dream of Michael Moore has come true. The democrat party has purged all who disagree with "the party line."

I strongly suspect Lieberman is for the war in Iraq because he believes it’s good for Isreal—no matter whether it’s good for the USA.

If you find that too incredible to believe, listen to this: former New York City Mayor Ed Koch said on his radio show that he supports the war in Iraq because it’s good for Israel.

I guess Koch can afford to come right out and say his first concern is a foreign country because he’s retired from running for office.
