The poll was restated today: 29,356 votes so far. McCain is leading Obama by 74-26%. Go to the link to vote.
Even if people select Obama in a poll six months before the election, what they will do the moment they enter the polling booth is another story.
shows what a backwater AOL has become
Internet polls aren’t worth the paper they’re printed on.
Oh wait! They aren’t even printed on paper.
Online polls are notoriously bogus. An average of most polls puts it very close by percentage of vote and by electoral votes.
Still, I’d like to see the liberal panic when they see these numbers.
LOL. You made me LOL, as simple as that was.
DONT TRUST ANY POLL
BUT IMAGINE, WE COULD HAVE THE WHITE HOUSE AND CONGRESS
Now finally ... we are getting a view of reality
The Congressional 9% approval rating is verified on one of the polls on this site with a 6% approval which is within the +/- 5% MOE.
What I would like to hear, is that the Dems seem to think the American people are not very bright, and don't see the games these liars spout every day. INW they are talking down to us, and thinking we are too stupid to know any different.
Surely BO is winning in the other 7 states?
Yes, a backwater with user age demographics that tilt decidedly in the direction of the 40+ crowd.
And slated to win the popular vote, since one of those states has over 220 million people...
Here’s another poll today from Human Events email list. You vote with a link they send. These would be conservative/GOP voting.

Voting Results
Who Are You Voting For?
Barack Obama 1709 votes (10.58%)
John McCain 7312 votes (45.26%)
Bob Barr 5823 votes (36.04%)
None of the above 1311 votes (8.12%)
...all of the caveats mentioned her are valid, still the lopsidedness even in light of this does say something I suspect. I think it says that there is a core group of people who quietly highly motivated to take action to stop Obama and what he represents (no not racial issues...marxism issues). This may be a harbinger of high voter turn out to block the Messiah’s ascendency.
Ron Paul use to win those AOL polls all the time. Either they aren’t very accurate or the votes are seriously being manipulated.
I continue to be stunned (or stuned) by these AOL polls. AOL polls are usually liberal.
I don’t think there is an internet campaign similar to Ron Paul’s going on here. I am happy to see these results. If nothing else, it provides encouragement to the average guy out there who is being manipulated into thinking it’s going to be an Obama landslide. That is obviously not the case.
AOL? And a straw poll at that? Ummm, take this one with a grain of salt...
“BUT IMAGINE, WE COULD HAVE THE WHITE HOUSE AND CONGRESS”
No matter who wins in November “we” will most definately NOT have the White House.
LOL!....China, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Syria, Kenya, Jordan and Russia...Right?
I have been on AOL for almost ten years and am shocked at these polls because in the past the liberals usually have the most votes. Am used to getting beat in polling like 4-1 on AOL but I love this polling. I don’t see where Obama has very deep support except in the black community and am not even sure about that as I know blacks in OK that wouldn’t vote for him for any position because he is way too liberal and way too quiet on his affiliations.
I 100% agree. They are severly losing the media war. Start standing up guys, talk straight to the people and beat the @$$holes to the cameras!
This is probably because the HRC supporters are still not over the fact that BHO is the apparent nominee. If HRC was nominated the results would be much closer.
I doubt McCain will have long coattails. Unless R candidates really start stressing “Drill now!,” and some other salient issues, I doubt they will gain either the House or the Senate.
In 2004 the aol poll had Bush beating frenchie in all states. He didn’t, but he won it all.
I saw the poll and I was shocked. By the time I saw it Obama had two states Vermont and Hawaii. I think over a few days Obama will have a couple more states and the results will be a bit more accurate. Sure the results can be manipulated, but I doubt enough to produce a landslide. This poll is good news either way, it shows a lot of dedication of McCain supporters if nothing else. I look forward to Novembers Poll, I believe McCain will have 278-284 electoral votes.
