I need help in proving that this picture is photoshopped. A Virginia Democrat blogger is using it like it's an actual news photo.

Can you help me prove it's a fake?

A liberal Virginia blogger is posting this photo like it’s a legitimate news photo in an attempt to discredit Rove and Congresswoman Thelma Drake.

I’d like to find the source of the original photoshop if possible.

Rove is coming to Virginia Beach to do a fundraiser for Thelma Drake. They’re blasting him over his refusal to testify.

The blogger is posting this and insinuating it’s his actual arrest. I know it’s not, but I’d like to be able to prove it before I challenge her.

Trust me, that photo is totally bogus. If Karl Rove had EVER been hauled off by cops in public that way, we'd have known about it from the ensuing media frenzy.

Having said that, the image you posted is too small to analyze properly for Photoshop tells. The likelihood is that his head was superimposed on the image, so finding the original would be extremely difficult.

Waaay back in the far reaches of my mind, I seem to recall that there was fake or play arrest of Rove and some other WH staffers for some charity. Sorry I’m not any help.

Check the angle of the light on the officer’s head (on the right). It’s not quite the same as the angle on Rove’s head. There is also a kind of glare spot on Rove’s head that does not appear on the baldy to the right of Rove.

Because the Dems have a pattern of spreading lies about Congresswoman Drake. They tried it last time and lost miserably. And they’re trying it again.

I’d like to be able to point that out. That’s all.

More than the “photoshopped” issue, is the question of “provenance.”

When was the picture supposedly taken? Why was he being so handled? Who are the two cops? What do they say, etc?

Seriously though, zoom in on the Rove face and the white cop face. Look at the jpg loss artifacts on Rove’s face that you dont see on the cop’s face. It’s obvious that the Rove image is cut from an image with much more lossyness and pasted into a fairly clean background. Only the front of the face was pasted on, and a sloppy blur was used on the Rove face’s left cheek area to blend in with the real image. That’s why the left ear is glowing. On top of that, the focus from the two images are way different.

Frickin amateurs. Liberals can’t even shoop da woop right.

A) Rove's head is way too small for the body it's pasted onto.

B) I cannot for the life of me imagine Karl ever wearing that hideous a tie.
