An outraged father of three enjoying a day out with his young sons in a U.K. park was branded a "pervert" by other parkgoers after he snapped photos of his own kids, the Daily Mail reported Tuesday.
(snip)
"What is the world coming to when anybody seen with a camera is assumed to be doing things that they should not?" Crutchley asked in an interview with the Daily Mail. "This parental paranoia is getting completely out of hand. I was so shocked."

Somewhere there exists a pic of my now 19 year old daughter fully naked except for a Russian fur hat that I got in Germany. She was being kooky and her mother snapped a pic.
Since we are now divorced, maybe I should inform the authorities.

The UK is now the place where they arrest you if you are the victim of a crime, or if you photograph members of your family.

Don't worry about it..... Here in Oz they have naked 6yo preteens on our art magazines and the laws here are so F.U.ed that they arrest people downloading pedophila on the net.(That how stupid our laws are.)
Our idiotic state government tried to foist a new law on us to stop us from annoying catholics attending our world youth day.Lucky for us the law was booted out and restored our freedom of speech.(Thank God!)

I am an amateur photographer and frequently have my camera with me. I am always concerned when I take a shot with strangers in it, especially if there are kids around. I’m afraid people will think I’m trying to take shots of their kids. It would have never occurred to me that I might have an issue taking pictures of kids I knew!

I have a new set of photos of Billy in the garden. I haven't downloaded them yet though.
I doubt those who had the guy arrest would find one of the photos acceptable.
He is picking the first ripe tomato off the vine. He is at that stage where he doesn't like to wear clothing. (Run wild, run free) Luckily for me, the other tomatoes cover what these prudes would find offensive.

I wonder if there’s not more to this story than first appears. First, it sounds as though the guy was holding up the line to the inflatable slide so he could take his pictures. I suspect that’s why the slide operator asked him to put the camera away and why the parents with kids waiting in line seconded the motion. Wouldn’t surprise me if he got snippy with her (and she might have been snippy with him in the first place) and then things escalated to where one exasperated parent said something stupid like “For all we know, you are taking their pictures and maybe pictures of our kids for posting on the internet.” It could just as easily be a typical dispute among parents of hot kids waiting in their swimsuits to take the slide while this guy held up the line to get his pictures. And the way this guy is whining, he sounds like he just might be a jerk. Just my theory.
