On Today’s Show...The New Yorker didn't put this cartoonish drawing on their cover to hurt Obama. They wanted to smear conservatives as racists, but now liberals are upset because the American people are too unsophisticated to get the joke. They say that if they'd had Rush painting the picture, that would have helped. (Rush 24/7 Members: Listen Here)

The government poisoned the financial markets, by meddling in the banking and mortgage industries. They gave us Freddie Mac and Fanny Mae. Now, people are clamoring for MORE government to fix the mess the government made?

Nevertheless, it’s backfiring on them. Mr. and Mrs. Bubba six pack don’t do much in depth reading. They see this magazine cover on TV 24/7, and the newstands everywhere, and the image sticks- all the way to the voting booth.
