And if so.. The US should have passed China a long time ago in this technology!

Talk about your tough environment..

They are working feverishly to clear the algae on water ways intended for use in the Games..

are just imposing the most recent scheduled round of the shutting down of polluting devices and enterprises , construction and heavy industry, for a temporary period ..

I hope the birdnest stadium doesn’t desolve before the closing ceremony..

I’m waiting too. I have many friends in China that wished the central government could have pumped a little warm air into the sky. One friend’s apartment was 48degrees on the inside. They were not ready for that at all.

Karl Rove had to sell his weather machine somewhere when he left the government. Obama has his own Weathermen.

Chinese soldiers remove algae from a beach near the Olympic Sailing Centre in the city of Qingdao on July 5, 2008. Foul-smelling green algae that has been plaguing China's Olympic sailing venue has been cleared, state media said Tuesday, after more than one million tonnes of the sludge was removed. If people start screwing around with the atmosphere, we’ll really get into a mess. An example of the road to hell paved with “good intentions”.

Can they really do this?

Sure. Their spies in the US just need to steal the blueprints for--and the make a copy of-- "Karl Rove's Weather Machine."

Hotel space for the Olympics is less than 50% booked. Three weeks to go. China will be eating this one.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again:

Not only would I NEVER consider attending these Olympics, I will not even watch one second of it on TV.

It’s called cloud seeding. The U.S. and other countries use it too. It can be used for either forcing rain or breaking up rain and thunder clouds etc.
