...enough to buy more than 2,500 small bottles a month, a newspaper said on Tuesday. 83 "small" bottles a day. Five bottles an hour, 16 hours a day.
He wasn't trying to drown his sorrows, he was trying to pickle 'em.

All I can say is, 24 bottles in a case, 24 hours in a day. Coincidence? I think not.

Some math. Assume a ‘small beer’ is the 7 ounce pony pack size. Also assume the beer is 3.2 % alcohol. Then
2500 ‘small beers’/month =
83 ‘small beers’/day =
581 ounces/day =
18.6 ounces of alcohol/day every day
WOW!

The heartbroken construction worker began drowning his sorrows after breaking up with his partner five years ago Baloney. He drank that much beer because he likes to get totally ripped. Drowning sorrow is a false excuse made up by drunks that too many people are willing to buy.

According to Wiki, an Australian "small bottle" is defined as 5 oz...but still that's 500 oz. of beer per day, give or take.
So, he was drinking approximately a bit less than two cases of 12 oz beers per day.
Can people acutally do that?

If I thought I had to vote for either one of these two treacherous clowns running for POTUS, I might be so distraught as to attempt to drink 2500 beers a month. Since I have decided to vote, but check neither the box for the anti-war Democrat or the pro-war Democrat, I have been able to keep my alcohol consumption in check.
