Dignified, yes, but there is no way that he is a saint Well, at least that's out of the way.
The July 21 New Yorker magazine cover of a turbaned Barack Obama, Angela Davis-Afroed, AK-47 accessorized spouse Michelle, Osama bin Laden portrait on the wall, and American flag burning in the fireplace drew predictable howls of protest from the Obama and opponent McCain presidential camps.
With the "Politics of Fear" satirical take on the Obamas, didn't the magazine publish what many people are thinking, figuratively, or literally?
I'm not satisfied with the complaints that the New Yorker gave comfort to right-wing nuts. It may be better to see this over-the-top image now as independent voters assess the Democratic U.S. Senator from Illinois rather than October when the undecided are about to make up their minds on which candidate they will chose at the polls.

That AK47 was a cheap shot, and I can see why the rats would be all bent over, I mean bent out of shape.
Yeah.. , but the rats are bent out of shape because the satire is too close to the truth. Of course Michelle doesn’t use a AK-47 it was satire... the rest of it was the actual truth.
Speaking of AK-47’s ..how is Obama going to defend this Country, he doesn’t even know how to shoot a gun, and has never had to defend anyone or anything. Bet he can not even fist punch anyone. I say we take this little sissy boy out and make him cry with more satire.
The problem is most people don't see it as over-the-top, but dead on.
The flag in the fireplace was bad enough—That burned my bis cutes but the rest seems accurate to me. fascists, Commies, and Liberals all have no sense of humor. Lets laugh them off the public stage.
Another good idea, satarizing the vast pretensions of the Left...and their little prick & nonutz candidate!
