Hundreds of Nato troops took positions across North Waziristan Tuesday, creating panic among the already terrified tribesmen.

Nato troops started arriving near the border Monday night. “Some of them had been brought in choppers and others by armoured personnel carriers. The troops had also shifted heavy arms and ammunition including tanks, heavy machineguns and artillery to the border,” said Haji Yaqub, of Ghulam Khan.

The troops deployed near Ghulam Khan, Saidgai, Shawal and Mir Safar. “They started setting up bunkers very close to the border while gunship helicopters are continuously hovering over the border,” said Roohullah, of Saidgai.

He said they had never before seen movement of foreign troops in such large numbers near the border. “For us, it’s just unusual as they are on the zero point,” said Roohullah.

Nato troops dug trenches at Mughalgai near Zhawar camp, a training camp of Mujahideen commander Jalaluddin Haqqani, near Saidgai.

Another bunker was set up at Gurbaz, close to Pakistan’s Ghulam Khan town. Similarly, another trench was set up close to Mir Safar and Shawal towns of NWA.

“They planned establishing four new military camps along the border and this latest deployment of the foreign troops was first step of their future planning,” said the sources.

Taliban spokesman Maulvi Omar said “When a responsible person like the prime minister has himself said that foreign militants were hiding in Pakistani tribal areas and could cause another 9/11 like disaster then who will stop American forces from invading the country,”.

He said the Taliban would welcome the Nato forces if they entered into the tribal areas. “It’s a gift that they’re coming here on our land and making it easy for us to kill our enemies, the enemies of Muslims,”

These jihadists really like to talk smack, huh? They welcome them so they can kill the evil Americans. Just like in Iraq, they were slaughtering the infidels and they were absolutely not in Baghdad, according to B-dad Bob. They need to give the machismo a rest and admit they will be hiding in caves, except for the very stupid among them. I know, they are all stupid. I said, “the very stupid among them” :)

Same folks as always: the American left wing members in Congress and the executive branch, and the media.

Can’t be too terrified...they won’t give up Omar or bin Laden. Nor will they eject Al Queda. Unless htey are “terrified” of them too.

Good — terrorize the terrorists. Then kill them.

The troops deployed near Ghulam Khan, Saidgai, Shawal and Mir Safar.

Ghulam Khan and Saidgai are ~250km from each other. If our guys are really lining up all along this length of border then this is going to be a big effort.
