Sydney, July 16 (ANI): A University of New South Wales study has opined that Aussies are more likely to shoot at Muslims, especially if they”re in a good mood. The researchers say that Australians perceive Muslim-style headgear as a threat.
The study, published in The Journal of Experimental Social Psychology, involved 66 students playing a computer game in which different male and female figures appeared on a balcony.
Some figures were wearing Muslim-style turbans or hijabs while others were bare headed. Participants were asked to shoot at the targets carrying guns and spare those who were unarmed. Researchers found that those with Muslim-style headgear were more likely to be shot, even if they were carrying non-threatening items such as a coffee mug, with both male and female students demonstrating a bias.
They also found that while “angry” participants shot at everybody, “happy” people targeted Muslims. “Its what we predicted. People in happy moods tend to rely on stereotyping more. Its like, Im feeling good, theres no need to question things,” The Herald Sun quoted Dr. Tom Denson, one of the researchers, as saying. “Muslims tend to be portrayed negatively in the media so the findings make sense, even in an otherwise tolerant western society like Australia,” he added.
Dr Denson insisted the study was not about aggressive behaviour, but about automatic processes that people go through when faced with quick decisions.
The study also showed that men were more likely to be targeted, a finding “consistent with other research findings that males are commonly seen as more threatening or dangerous”. (ANI)

The coffee that *I* make is a chemical hazard. Flip a cup of it on a tank and it’ll be a spot of bare metal in three minutes.

Ummm...I'm not an eminent psychologist, but shouldn't some of the figures been wearing NON-muslim headgear? Or even...oh, I don't know, been in traditional muslim garb but bareheaded? Us mere proles call these classes "controls," but I guess that's too plebian for the enlightened psychologists.
One more slam on a Western society. Maybe the Muslims in Oz ought to assimilate and stop with their 7th century madness. Mr. X just got back from a business trip to Montreal, he was stunned to see that the streets were thronged with the same people he had encountered in Pakistan and Afghanistan in the 1970’s. The Muslims don't do change or progress, just outrage and victimology.
If the Aussies are happy when shooting Muslims, maybe that says alot about what the Muslims do to their country.

In 12 cup drip percolator pot, fill to 6 cup mark with water.
In filter, put 6 heaping scoops of coffee.
Medium roast works best, just make sure it’s a robust blend.
Found a maxwellhouse ‘medium roast’ that was rather anemic.
Put pinch of salt in filter, about as much as it would take to cover the surface of a dime with one even layer.
This keeps the coffee from tasting burned too quickly, it doesn’t age well brewed this way.
Brew, recirculate if need be, usually not.
Add sugar and dairy creamer.
Creamora and coffeemate are not recommended unless you like the heart racing that Ranger Pudding gives.
That, and the nondairy creamer will give you both a headache and a buzz with the coffee.
I usually put about 8 spoons of sugar in this stuff, it ends up being like Russian Kava, thick and sweet with that bitter overtone to it.
Oh, and I am NOT responsible for seeming demonic possession of the coffeepot, or the coffeepot ending up acting as if it has been damaged.
Be sure NOT to add creamora or coffeemate to the brew, unless you LIKE ranger pudding style heart racing.
When I brew that stuff for myself, I recirculate the stuff to brew a second time, but that’s me for my own personal enjoyment, and it may wreck the coffeepot.
Don’t forget the salt, it’s important to the finished brew.

lol, so according to these morons, Muslims PR problem is only due to their negative portrayal in the media. It has nothing to do with the fact that they kill thousands of innocent people in terrorist attacks every year. Sheesh, some people are too stupid to survive.

It should be a good, sturdy robust blend, and it can’t have more than the slightest hint of fru-fru, like Hazelnut or Vanilla. It’s salient feature should be its brutality. When I (briefly) lived in New York City, my morning cup of coffee was an entire pot of espresso, with the coffee reservoir packed as tightly as possible with coffee.
When I use a standard coffee maker, I pack the entire filter basket with coffee. No milk, no sugar, no odd sweetening chemicals. Sometimes it’s better the next day, reheated. Not as much for taste, but for additional punch. If it has an oily sort of indigo sheen on it, I’m there.
I’ve had to back off on this in recent years, as I have some cardiac issues. Still like it as strong as I can get it, though.
