We remind our readers that, contrary to the Obama campaigns disclaimer, the campaign does exercise editorial control over my.barackobama.com by deleting comments and blog entries that it finds objectionable or disrespectful. The Obama campaign apparently sanctions (tolerates) the following entry as neither objectionable nor disrespectful. http://my.barackobama.com/page/community/post/HQblog/gG5CKp/commentary

Jun 5th 2008 at 12:20 am EDT There is NEVER a time to pander to WAR CRIMINALS the mamby-pamby days of pretending Zionists are selling Girl Scout cookies is OVER.. AIPAC and Zionists are selling OUR AMERICAN CHILDRENS BLOOD TO SHED OVERSEAS IN MIDDLE-EAST PROXY WARS get over the phoney anti-Semetic schtick its old , its phoney, and its WRONG to use that to enable and pander to AIPAC Zionist proxy war crimes.
Yank from New York doesnt say whether those Zionists are making matzohs from the blood of those American children, but he comes in loud and clear. Also note that this appears on the Obama campaigns headquarters (HQ) blog, which is apparently run by the campaigns staff. In other words:
1. No one reported this entry (and several like it) as objectionable or disrespectful or, if they did, the Obama campaign found it acceptable. We know we reported several entries that were actually libelous, and only one was deleted.
2. The staffers who run the HQ blog apparently have no problems with this kind of material.

KEY POINTS
(1) The Obama campaign exercises editorial control--and "exercise of editorial control" is the key phrase--over the site, and is therefore at least morally responsible for the content.
(2) My.Barackobama.com is central to Obama's fundraising and organizing efforts. The Obama campaign cannot live without it and, by quoting the hate speech that pervades it, we can fix matters so the campaign can't live with it either.
(3) The above strategy--widespread circulation of hate speech on a site under editorial control--SUCCEEDED in forcing MoveOn.org to take down its prized Action Forum in 2006! In other words, #2 above is not speculation or wishful thinking. If we can get enough people to act on this advice, we can effective end Obama's campaign.
Well, this may get him some of the Pat Buchanan vote.
