Talkers routinely undercounts the listenership of Conservative talkers....it is because Michael Harrison, the editor and founder of the magazine is a flaaaaaaaaming liberal. Rush is up at 20mil per week and I am sure that Sean and the rest of the also rans are also equally undercounted. BTW No Way Stern has 7million listeners a week...the guy is in the Sirius Ghetto...oh wait, the chart is from 06, when Stern was still on terrestrial radio.
Why wouldn’t he be? Remember he is on late in the day out east, which isn’t prime time talk radio time. He still is a strong #3.
Listeners 12 and over?
Oops, that's an important point I missed. That, and who compiled it, explains why it just doesn't look right.
Likely what you heard was Glenn Beck was third among some age group, or third in some one city...or something like that.
Glenn Beck is not third among overall listeners, of any age, nationwide.
No, I heard third overall, right behind Rush and Sean. But your chart is two or more years old, and Glenn has increased his audience greatly over the past two years.
Looks to me like Levin is gaining on Weiner Nation ... this must upset you Weiner lovers. See here: http://www.talkers.com/main/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=17&Itemid=34
Oh, and Levin beating Weiner 25-54 demo, 1.9 to 1.4.
So, Levin beats Weiner 12+ 5.6 to 3.7, and he beats him in the 25-54 demo (these are the two key demos) and the Weinerettes here think somebody is cooking the books? Figures. Weiner’s days are numbered. His jealous and barely literate rants against Rush, Sean, and Levin, his incoherent positions, and his love of Chuck Schumer and Jerry Brown, are “coming home to roost.”
And these are the Arbitron ratings.
PING
Mark is originally from Philly and resides in VA.
Mark's line, correct?
DITTO that. There's no net gain in eating our own, so cut it out!
One more thing...
Well, there are still some Weinerettes here who are slow learners like their hero. So, let me help some more:
In another important demo - Men 18+, Levin is #1 in New York with a 7.0, Weiner is # 6 with a 4.7.
Any other questions about the Arbitron numbers today?
That’s a great rallying cry for you Weiner lovers - “We’re Number Six!!! We’re Number Six!!!”
Might as well join the fun!
WITT, have you got better comparison than this?
In demographics, again think it's the 25 to 54, but not overall.
Bottom of that chart says 2006, dude.
are the on the same time slot or something? I enjoy them both
