NEW ORLEANS (AP) — Both of the major candidates in this year’s U.S. Senate race in Louisiana report raising more than $1.5 million in the last three months, although the incumbent has a big advantage right now in cash on hand.

Democratic Sen. Mary Landrieu’s campaign reports cash on hand of $5.5 million. State Treasurer John Kennedy, a Republican, has $2.7 million for his campaign to unseat Landrieu.

The figures are from press releases distributed by the campaigns. The campaigns’ reports were due with the Federal Elections Commission Tuesday but had not been posted on the FEC Web site as of Wednesday morning

Support John Kennedy for Senate. He has Democratic Senator Mary Landrieu on the run.
This is probably the best chance for a pickup.

We've got a House seat, TX district 22, that we might have a chance at talking back over here.

That's Tom Delay's old district that is now held by Rat Nick Lampson. Pete Olson for Congress.

I'm not supporting the RNC or Juan McAmensty, but these guys are our best chance to elect some Conservatives.

Just a question. How much of the United States did they have to sell to get that much money? I will bet that the return on our money they promised to give away is about 99.05% more than they received in contributions.

I don't know about all of you, but I call that 'corruption'.

Landrieu certainly deserves the pink slip. Can’t think of anything she’s done right in the last 6 years.
