Tucscon residents remain up in arms over the unhinged open-borders mob, led by reconquistadora Pima County (AZ) public defender Isabel Garcia, who beat and tore apart an effigy of tough, anti-illegal immigration Sheriff Joe Arpaio at his recent book tour event.
See the videos here in case you missed it yesterday.
Garcia is now gloating about the incidentcalling it funny. She has posted a bigotry card-playing response at her militant website, Derechos Humanos. Laugh line: We stand for the principles of peace and justice.

i saw the videos yesterday.
i’m not a lawyer, but i wonder at what point such behavior incites physical harm or worse?
if one did this to an effigy of the u.s. president, a visit by the secret service would probably occur.
She is a little old to be playing with pinata’s all alone. Just a wolfing down that candy. LOL.
I’ve always wanted to be burned in effigy. I’ll know I’m truly a success at that point.
The open borders crowd are planning to bring Sheriff Arpaio down. The AZ governor has already cut his funding and now these items:

I guess that's redundant.
If I had a time machine I’d roll the clock back a hundred years and have a little country store that sold rope.
So far, her boss, the county, and the Bar Association are all afraid of her.
She is another leftist nut who has let a bit of power go to her head.
If she has her way, our legal system and law enforcement will become just as corrupt as Mexico's.
Yes, it was totally disgusting. Racial slurs are equally disgusting. Criticize her actions, not her DNA.
I should have said
totaly disgusting - inciting violence - she wants to be the hispanic Al Sharpton.
Really, like Jesse Jackson using racial slurs?
Do we want that post held up as an example of Free Republic being a 'hate site'? I know I don't want that to be the case.
I'll debate actions and philosophies of individuals all day long. A person gets slurred for what DNA that they were born with, I will voice my strong opposition no matter who is being slurred.
I am very politically incorrect, but I won’t slur someone for what ethnicity that they were born with. Talk about closing doors before a conversation is started.
It is a shame that there seems to be nobody in authority over here with courage to sanction her. I wonder how many locals will file complaints with the Arizona Bar for her inciting violence towards an elected official.
ping
This is McCain’s constituency?
It’s just fact that some DNA has a higher tendency for incarceration than other DNA.
If you speaking group behavior and group-think, I'll agree with you.
You need Daily KO’s, not Free Republic.
You mean about deporting THESE guys..no way...the need the needle...
I mean we need massive deportations and permanent blockage of birthright citizenship.
LOL! I was here about about a decade before you. I'll be here long after you're gone. If you are friendly towards those with a propensity towards racial slurs, The Daily Kos may be more to your liking.
I just didn’t think I said anything resembling a racial slur...other than quoting facts.
I could give truly care less when you arrived on this site...and where am I going, anyway?
Then you are entering a discussion ignorant of what was being discussed. And you think I belong at the Daily Kos. That’s rich.
The PD Officer was a retired AF MSgt, good Christian man with a wife and two kids.
And the Tucson PD had this demonstration covered, they had to stand there and watch an LEO be beaten in effigy.
Pardon my French, but Garcia, the freaking Taxpayer-Salaried County Defender, is lowlife scum, and don't know it.
That makes my blood boil. Again, there have got to be some good people in Tucson who can file complaints with the Arizona Bar.
He seems to think the line between "professional conduct" and free speech is a grey area.
I know she has a lot of backing from the illegal alien lobbies, and she plays the race card at every opportunity (some in the mob were yelling "Racist Barnes and Noble!" at the book signing).
There is no doubt that, if fired, she will file a very expensive lawsuit against the county, and their budget is, of course, a mess already.
