The stunning comments from Democrat Sen. Barack Obama that the United States needs a "civilian national security force" that would be as powerful, strong and well-funded as the half-trillion dollar United States Army, Marines, Navy and Air Force have mysteriously disappeared from published transcripts of the speech.
In the comments, Obama confirmed the U.S. "cannot continue to rely on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives we've set."
Campaign officials have declined to return any of a series of WND telephone calls over several days requesting a comment on the situation. Nor have they posted a transcript of the speech on their website.
But transcripts posted at both the Wall Street Journal and Denver Post do not have the critical comment that has raised such concern. Those transcripts of Obama's speech in Colorado Springs July 2 include the following:
We'll send more college graduates to teach and mentor our young people. We'll call on Americans to join an Energy Corps to conduct renewable energy and environmental cleanup projects in their neighborhoods. We'll enlist veterans to help other vets find jobs and support, and to be there for our military families. And we'll also grow our Foreign Service, open consulates that have been shuttered, and double the size of the Peace Corps by 2011 to renew our diplomacy.
And we'll use technology to connect people to service. We'll expand USA Freedom Corps to create an online network where Americans can browse opportunities to volunteer. You'll be able to search by category, time commitment, and skill sets; you'll be able to rate service opportunities, build service networks, and create your own service pages to track your hours and activities. This will empower more Americans to craft their own service agenda, and make their own change from the bottom up.

This is pretty ironic for me. See, I’ve been working on an alternate-history story and one of the things I thought up for it was a secret police force used by the RATs to enforce their new order, made up of criminals and dubbed “Guardians”.
Seems I may have predicted the future.
I just hope the rest of my story doesn’t come to pass.

This is exactly what was proposed by Kennedy’s State Dept plan, that would call for phasing out all the armies of the world into national security forces to deal with internal issues, and the armies would become part of the UN army, which would have control of the nukes and military assets. No nations’ internal security force would be strong enough to defeat the UN army forces.
Probably why they took this stuff out as soon as they knew what a blunder it is. He told us too much. He wants to put phase 3 into place (we’re at phase 2 now) - decreasing sizes of national military forces, building up internal forces/paramilitary police forces).

I believe 3/4th of our military lean conservative and the career type do vote during election time.
That’s why they were excluded during the Florida recount 2000 by the Dem’s.
The only way to break up the monopoly is to create your own force to beat the opposition mindset.
The whole affair sounds too much like the Soviet’s Young Pioneers.
Trying to get middle school students to do 50 hours of community service a year would be asking too much. The kids are too stubborn to memorize their times tables or come to class on time.
Parents will have lawsuits because your forcing kids to volunteer.
Colleges already have those programs...its called internships.

The question is, will the propagandists in the media get their way in time? In my view, Obama is the culmination of the last dying breath of the marxist media monopoly. The single viewpoint they've enjoyed trumpeting for so long is being drowned out by radio and the internet, but they're like a cornered, injured, dying, rabid wild animal, and propagandizing for Obama all day, every day, is their way of lashing out before they finally expire into irrelevancy. He's their last, best hope, and they're making no bones about trying their damndest to shoe-horn him into the White House, no matter how obvious they are about doing it. To them, it's now or never. If obama is defeated, they will never again have the power to influence elections to the degree they've been able to in the past. It's like a race against time for them. They are still very powerful, but their power is fading fast, and they know it. It's "Obama now or bust" for them. I really believe if we can survive this last onslaught by them, they're done as a monolithic purveyor of marxist propaganda.

Maybe “ObeyMe” will have U.S. students participating in the Peace Corps in marxist/communist countries receive advanced training to prepare them to serve in his civilian national security force.

All of the ums, uhs, and ellipses are absent from his transcripts. He seems articulate because people don’t hear what he says, they read what he and his speechifying writers have intended for him to say. And if something else slips out, well.. you must be taking it out of context.
That book pales compared to the earler book on the same topic that also exposed Cuban, Chinese, and Vietnamese Communist efforts to fake news and to edit the historical record of photographic images. Almost as if this writer edited out the exposure of other Communist regimes.

The tele-prompter never mis-speaks. He said what had been carefully written by someone familiar with the agenda. Apparently the propaganda police failed to thoroughly proofread the speech in advance. A blunder of this magnitude to the Obama campaign is unimaginable.

The previously prepared speech did not have that line in it. BHO changed several parts of the speech when he delivered it (no way to tell if those bits were on the teleprompter), including adding the offensive phrase.
I do not believe “civilian national security force” was excised from the written copies; I think he threw that in. It was, however, an extremely poor choice of words to throw in.
