(IsraelNN.com) As Israel buries her fallen sons, harsh questions and details are arising from the exchange which took place yesterday. According to Israeli officials, the bodies were received in a severely-damaged state which may have lengthened the confirmation of their identities. Former IDF Medical Corps and Chief Military Rabbinate officials have noted the tragic expertise Israel has gathered in years of conflict, but remained shocked by what they saw yesterday at the Rosh HaNikra border crossing.
Rabbi Yisrael Weiss, former Chief Rabbi of the IDF, who was present during the transfer of the fallen soldiers yesterday, said that "the verification process yesterday was very slow, because, if we thought the enemy was cruel to the living and the dead, we were surprised, when we opened the caskets, to discover just how cruel. And I'll leave it at that."
Former IDF Chief Medical Officer Brig. Gen. (reserve) Dr. Hezi Levi noted this morning that only extensive procedures could verify the exact series of events following the soldier's capture, including whether or not a gunshot wound Regev received to the head was caused by terrorists' "confirming the kill" of the fallen IDF soldier.
These animals celebrate the return of a child murderer and desecrate dead soldier’s bodies. And we are supposed to give these pigs equivalent standing as an Israeli. Pigs. All of them. May they burn in hell and i would be glad to help them get there.

These animals have no respect for anyone else’s religion why are their wishes constantly granted by “civilized society”.
Let me tell you, if a future Homicide bomber knows that all of his bits will be fed to dogs (pigs would be better, but it is Israel), they might want to reconsider.
We (the US and the IDF) repatriate remains and treat prisoners with respect, in return we get torture, murder, bodies mutilated and hidden, and used as bargaining chips.
Even the playing field, demand respect and show the consequences for ANY lack of respect.
Maybe some day they'll take the trouble, form a Constitution and have a government of responsible adults.
Until then Israel remains governed by self serving whores and party hacks with no obligations to their citizenry.
That's why I can't understand sending back known terrorists and murderers of Israelis to their terrorist masters in return for the proof of what happens when Israelis fall into Muslim terrorist hands. And unless a miracle happens, more and more Israelis will be kidnapped and tortured to death so that their mangled bodies can be exchanged for more murderers of Israelis. It's insane....
I have often thought that an IDF JDAM (preferably of the 2000 lb. variety) delivered at the height of the speeches would provide just the right counter (a touch of humility, so to speak) to balance Arab celebratory boasting.
Couldn’t happen to a more deserving group of people.
Personally, I would have deduced what had happened and would have replied in kind.

I would have been surprised if the Hezbollah devils had not mutilated the bodies. They have a long history of trying to taunt the Israelis with their ability to disregard all human values while maintaining the tacit (and sometimes active) approval and support of a sizable part of the global media.
For some years, there was a billboard a few feet inside the Lebanese side of the line and facing the Israeli side.
It featured a sequence of photographs of Hezbeasts leading captured Israeli soldiers, then a grinning demon displaying a severed head, with the face fully recognizable, to a cheering mob of other savages.
The caption gloated “We still have your soldiers!!” in English, Hebrew, and Arabic. Israeli authorities forbade the sign’s destruction because it was right next to a UN “observation post,” (which I would call a “human shield station”). The sign was finally destroyed during the 2006 war.
The Israelis have made a very bad bargain, and they will pay for it. They have traded live terrorists for dead soldiers.
This action by the Israeli government is unforgivable.
Pig manure is more valuable and intelligent than the people who celebrate these atrocities.
We could certainly have hoped that under previous Israeli governments, but Olmert is Israel's version of Jimmy Carter; he can't do anything right, and least of all in Israel's best interests.
I don't know, in the Middle East so many games go on behind the scenes and who of us can ever see the real truth?

This disgusting episode may be a catalyst for real change in Israel. I am not especially hopeful though. Too many in the Israeli electorate are mesmerized by Olmert and the appeasers. I am sad for those who do care about their own survival.
Seems to me that there is no way of making peace with people who are forced to believe that it’s just fine to blow schoolchildren to bits while they are in a schoolbus on the way to school, to lock children in a school and torture them and kill them, and to cut heads off and enjoy watching the videos.

I’ve always supported Israel, but I have little sympathy for her now.

These two soldiers were seized two or three years ago, and most likely murdered shortly there after. I would think that decomposition would make it hard to tell if they had been abused before or after death or not.
I do know that when Indian soldiers corpses, returned by the Pakistanis after the Kargil War, were examined, they were often heavily mutilated - eyes gouged out (so as not to look on the face of god), tongues the same, Koranic sayings on the torsos, even the head decapitated.

There were only thinking about the family’s of the two dead. Knowing you have buried your family member is all that mattered.
