A bad day for the red-hots

Al Gore picked a bad day to tout his global-warming scam. Just as he was telling an easily conned columnist for the Associated Press that Earthlings have just 10 years to get in line behind him to save the world from the frying pan, a consortium of 50,000 physicists conceded that maybe Al's evidence of man-made warming isn't so hot, after all.
Al, who confuses the hot air of flatulent cows, forgetting to turn out the lights and fumes from cars and trucks with the hot air he contributes himself, now wants to abandon coal-fired generation of electricity and turn to the impractical, the fanciful and the harebrained. It won't cost but $3 trillion, lot of could be, possibly and maybe for a lot of zeroes.

Yeah, but the clown commie media is reporting “Gore proposed bold new plan.” He wants to cut off our power and make us live in hovels. The boldest, newest plan from the Politburo.

Well truth be told, Al Gore sure increased the ambient temperature for about 3000 Americans on 9/11, why?
Because Al Gore's vaunted commission on airline and airport security had recommended all sorts of improvements and enhancements to America's commercial flight infrastructure, BUT:
Gore's commission initially urged measures that included baggage matching, (i.e., no checked bag, even on a connecting flight, could be loaded unless the ticket holder also boarded the flight) but the airlines protested that it would be too expensive, and would 'enrage' passengers. Other security upgrades were likewise delayed or eliminated.
Therefore, Gore's commission chose to delay immediate implementation of the plan for that and other reasons. What other reasons?
How about:
The airlines giving the Democratic Party over half a million dollars ($585,000 to be exact) just prior to the '96 general election, twice what was given the Republican Party.
After Gore and his commission watered down their recommendations, the airline industry saw no need for future huge contributions, as they contributed only $57,000 for Gore's 2000 presidential campaign.
So when we saw pictures of our doomed fellow citizens leaping from the Twin Towers on 9/11, it can accurately be said that it was Al Gore* who helped to torch their blazing tomb via al Qaeda's hijacked airliners, who waltzed right through inadequate airport security to perform their nefarious deeds.
[*w/dishonorable mention to John F'in Kerry, who dismissed two retired FAA security professionals who contacted Kerry's office in the Spring of 2001 with grave concerns about the lack of security at Boston's Logan Airport, told Kerry's office that Logan was a 'terrorist hijacking waiting to happen' but Kerry couldn't be bothered, since the FAA guys were not "constituents" and in fact were from TEXAS, and despite their offering to fly to Washington on their own dime to testify before Kerry in Senate committee session, they were informed by Kerry's office that it "wouldn't be helpful". Kerry passed off their concerns to the FAA Inspector General's office, who had already refused to take action concerning Logan Airport, so between Gore and Kerry, the collapse of airport security on 9/11 was made inevitable.]

Al Gore, showing how he is above the masses, arrives at the conference in an entourage of two Lincoln Town Cars and an SUV. His driver leaves the car idling so the A/C can keep the inside nice an cool. But of course!
Check out the video. What a class-A hypocrite.

Sen. George Voinovich of Ohio, a Republican, is not impressed. "We could put windmills from the Atlantic to the Pacific and it will increase the production of carbon-free energy production, but the fact of the matter is it's not going to get the job done."What? Voinovich said something that makes sense? Now THERE'S a breakthrough.

I’m willing to bet that even many of Gore’s former and present toadies and wild-eyed believers are questioning his sanity. Especially now in the midst of Obama’s run for the Oval Office, Gore’s nutty presentations and observations might queer things for The Anointed One. I’d like to have been able to read Obama’s thoughts when Gore went off on his latest nuttiness with His Highness Obama standing by his side. He probably thought “good grief Al, can that bs until November.”

how much longer is this moron going to pout over losing the election? i would say its time to get over it al.

Why doesn’t algore make all of his homes solar and wind powered. As soon asche is off the grid, I will think about it!

I heard a very knowlegeable caller on Limbaugh’s program this week. He pointed out that wind power is a flawed technology because there is no way to store the tubines output. No practical battery system can handle the output. There were several other interesting points, but the things turned to humor. They discussed what could be done with those wind farms after they failed to deliver any significant useful energy. One suggestion was to have Disney turn them into some kind of theme park. My old cartoonist mind started working. I thought the maybe the prop wash could be used counter Gore’s global warming. Then I realized it would also blow Gore’s flatuance all over the land. Other thoughts were strapping enviro-wackos to the blades and let them go for a spin. That might reverse their twisted thinking.
Take it from there Freepers. I’m getting dizzy from all this deep thinking. Time for another caffine injection.

I heard a very knowlegeable caller on Limbaughs program this week. He pointed out that wind power is a flawed technology because there is no way to store the tubines output. Energy/Power systems are extremely complex. The ultimate energy source, e.g. coal, wind, solar, nuclear is only a small part of the equation.
Power control, storage and distribution issues are a huge concern.
That's why wind and solar energy are so difficult to implement. Hard to control and store. The "Combined Power" link below will give you some insight into the challenges of getting to 100% alternative energy.

FWIW I'm a "power systems" engineer.
