Nice, but if they ever go back to a “real” rifle, they will probably have to carry it on their shoulder...where it belongs, anyway!

So basically it is a up dated foot locker
Looks like it would load and pack real nice in either a truck or plane
Being dust proof and water proof is nice

Yes, but without a tray...
To: mouser
The one in my backyard is marked "Recycleable Only" but it doesn't have wheels or a top.
Honestly, it's an improved foot locker without the crusty charm of the ones I have in storage. For this the Canucks hold a press conference?

Maybe they’re trying to drum up and show support for their troops.

It was not a press conference. These mini videos are routinely released by Army News on a number of topics, mainly items that may be of interest to the service personnel who are the intended audience.

The current platform has seen more wars, more combat and more soldiers than any rifle in US history.
“Going back” to a “real rifle” would be a step “back”, indeed.

No disrespect; to the troops at least.
But typically I'd relegate a new, plastic, easily handled by commercial handling equipment and cargo AC, box to a one page tech release to accompany the box.
I suppose that the "better downward communications" management mandate means that there is more time for communication than there is meaningful communication itself. Industry suffers the same problem but usually screws it up further by avoiding the meaningful stuff altogether. (My last employer was big on poorly chosen background music.)

These videos and articles are nto tech releases.
They are small human interest articles. The audience is comprised mainly of service personnel and those interested in the comings and goings of the Canadian Forces.
I have posted several of them, the majority of which do not describe equipment releases.

Y'all, are wrong about this equipment box.
The reason it was videoed was to get the word out that evryone is going to be able to have a super beer cooler in the Area of Operations.
WTF? You think we Canadians are dumb? You yanks sre still keeping your beer in garbage cans!
