If an employer in a state, say CT, wanted to offer a job to a veteran first, where do you go to find out local based vets that need a job? Do you go to the state first or is there a list on a site that one can go?

Thanks, we will check that out. We want to hire a veteran who has certain skills like machinist in a manufacturing facility. We had a vet that worked for year’s and moved on to a better job. The veteran we had was so great and we appreciated the work ethic and skill level that we were wondering where to go.
