I just posted an article credited by the Associated Press on Barack Obama’s citizenship
Makes me wonder how much research Donna Cassata, the AP Political Editor in Washington did to make her undocumented remarks
I now propose that the producer of these videos has done far more research on documenting Obama’s birth than Ms. Cassata ever thought about doing.
My opinion - the mainstream press has let us down again.

He won’t release his application to the state bar. He’s never released any legal or billing records to verify that he only did a few hours of work for a nonprofit tied to Tony Rezko.
He’s never released any medical records, just a one-page letter from his doctor.
Isn’t it about time we DEMANDED the release of these mysterious records

We have requirements to become President of the United States. Who verifies those requirements? Is it based on the candidates honor, or do we have a committee that checks out all the details?
Have we ever had a case where someone might not meet those requirements and keeps the facts hidden?
I think the real question is, is he human?
BTW, does it matter? I think it does, but how do we reach all the idiots who are voting without facts?
I am going to print shirts and flyers that say, "Don't know 5 significant facts about each candidate? Don't VOTE!!!"
I wonder what reaction I will get in voting line. I won't be campaigning for either candidate, but to me it is obvious that the Democrat voters are typically the ones who don't know jack about the candidates.
I’m still wondering if he registered for Selective Service as all American men born after December 31, 1959 are REQUIRED to do. I was born in 1960 and had to register AFTER I left the U.S. Army!

Apparently it’s up to us, the U.S. citizen, to ferret out the facts about about a presidential candidate. As in the famous weasel words of Al Gore, “there’s no controlling authority”.
You have to have their social security number and birth date. I had Obama's birth date, but couldn't fined his SS#. :-(
I checked mine and found my registration number. I still remember the day I went to register. It was over 20 years ago.
If his mother is an American then he is an American no matter where he was born. Now whether his mother registered his birth is another thing.

The DNC is pushing Obama and no other candidate had a chance, it was Obama or nobody. With all these flaws they did little or no vetting with Obama, you can see that. He’s hiding something and the PUMA’S are really going after his ass. Stay tuned for more later.

His mother was in/near Canada +/- two weeks of his birth.
We have no idea who Obama's parents are, where he was born, or when he was born. Until We The People see a valid birth certificate we will not know.
Once We The People have been presented a valid birth certificate then the country can determine whether Obama is a natural born citizen. Until then, all statements on the subject are mere speculation.
It is time for a subpoena of documents to be obtained from federal court and served on the State of Hawaii to produce Obama's original certificate of live birth and all other official documents surrounding his birth.
It is time to find out what, if anything, Obama is hiding about his birth.

She's the smartest woman in the world, and he's a disadvantaged minority. On the other hand, its well known that she didn't pass her bar exam on the first try (nor for that matter did Michelle).

Questions have been raised about the eligibility of both candidates, especially Obama, and there should be no problem in verifying the information. What if Obama's mother had renounced her citizenship? For McCain, being born on a US military base is not the same as being born in the USA. In view of the outlandish decisions by the Supreme Court, it would come as no surprise if it said McCain did not meet the criteria.

You are mistaken.
If he was born outside the US to one US citizen and one non-citizen, he is not automatically a citizen, and he is not a 'natural-born' citizen.
He is automatically eligible for permanent residence with a pathway to citizenship (but not 'natural-born') citizenship).
But BOTH of his parents were US citizens, unlike Obama.
This issue also came up in 1968, when George Romney (Mitt's dad) ran for the GOP nomination. George Romney was born in Mexico of American parents. The consensus then was that the fact that both parents were US citizens meant that he qualified as "natural-born," even though he was born outside the US.
Let us disqualify both of them and start over, wouldn’t bother me.
In Obama's case there are several questions, in McCain's there is the question of him born in a foreign country. Considering some of the controversial interpretations made by the Supreme Court, it might decide against McCain.
There is no question if both parents of a candidate are citizens AND he is born in the United States. If not, then it needs clarification. I would not want a POTUS who holds dual citizenship.
