In a "Worst person in the world" segment Keith Obermann called Veternan Bud Day a CLOWN because Mr. Day said "he was not prepared to bow the knee to the "Muslims," referring to Muslim terrorists who seek to destroy America.

Some people are born a$$holes; others, like Olberman work at it each and every day.
After ignoring him for a couple of years I finally watched him for the first time about 2 years ago. Then I understood why is such a laughingstock. I sometimes watch a few seconds to remind me of what kind of idiotic enemies are out there. That’s about the limits of my KO exposure.
This one is such a low even for him that it gets my blood boiling. He is such a predictable cartoon of a human being that I really don’t even need to see the video.

Let me tell you. I worked directly for Col Bud Day after his release. He is one of my hero’s and I always will respect this fine officer. During the Iran hostage situation back in the 70’s he rallied the people down in Florida to get them back. One true Patriot in my book. Oberberman is one jerk.
So that he's horrible doing a political show is hardly a surprise. The surprise would be if he were watchable for more than 2 minutes. He couldn't read the Bible on air and make you want to stay tuned in. Olberman is a supreme clymer, period.

Well it wasn’t a very bright thing for Colonel Day to say, and since he’s tied to McCain’s campaign then it was sure to make the news. But worst person in the world? I would have thought Pelosi should have grabbed that for her remarks about Bush. But then again, this is Obermann.

I watched his show once. Once is philosophy; twice is perversion.
Olbermann is a vile bastard not worthy of being in Col Day’s presence.

Saying later that he misspoke, that's regrettable. The McCain campaign seems to stand for nothing except non-offensiveness to loud-mouthed ethnic interest groups.

It was a dumb thing to say, I'm sure he meant "radical Muslims", although McCain would probably throw him under the ST Express for that too.

Ted may not be a liar. At the very best he has a sloppy copy editor. The odd typo is perhaps understandable, but three errors that flagrantly misuse the English Language, from someone who habitually writes copy for a living, is unforgivable.
He didn’t say “every single Muslim” wants us to kneel. However, the religiously correct ones do. Read the Quran if you doubt it. The proper and moderate Muslims, by far the majority, believe the Quran to be the very word of God, and it exhorts them to make us kneel or die.
And the extremists, by the way, want us to burn to death or jump from windows.
I don’t imagine we’ll ever really know what Colonel Day meant when he said it. Regardless, I think we can agree that Obermann’s response was over the top.
keith would have to climb one of those ladders the fire companies use to reach heights of burning buildings to even come close to reaching the SOLES of Bud Day’s shoes.
keith could only even imagine and dream what it must be like to be a man of such high caliber, respect and honor as Bud Day.
keith is a sad little man with no life and no real importance except to read stuff on TV and therefore can’t even comprehend anything of such importance that would come out of Bud Day.

The talking points at MSNBC are to trash competitors. Only they end up looking like sore losers, their digs petty and ridiculous. "Conservatives" who are the bad guys. They even label O'Reilly and McCain Conservatives - shows how out of touch them are.
I’ll have to admit that I haven’t watched MSNBC since the 2000 election. I’m proud of that choice as it keeps me far and clear from the insanity that goes on in that station.
I understand the need to report however, it would be better if the station and it’s cast were to be completely ignored as the cast isn’t much different from it’s viewers.
He’s a douche-bag.
