Glad to hear that someone is countering these folks. I have been out there to counter them occasionally over a several year period. Some of them would recognize me. If I had seen your post earlier, I might have come today on the 19th. It is kind of a drive for me, about 40 minutes. I may be able to come starting August 2, 2008.
FYI The person in charge, who I believe is the one you will see passing out the leaflets, is Jeanine Bernstein. If you look at their post on the Orange County Peace Coalition calendar you will find that they even oppose the War on Terror, not just the US in Iraq. This group is composed of very hard core America haters and useful idiot allies. The ocpeace.org website gives lots of info about this and other vigils in Orange County.
