Al Gore steals the show at Netroots
By Lilly Rockwell | Saturday, July 19, 2008, 11:01 AM
Former Vice President Al Gore stole the show from House Speaker Nancy Pelosis fireside policy chat at the Netroots Nation conference in Austin on Saturday.
Pelosi spent 45 minutes talking about abortion rights, efforts to bring the troops back from Iraq and why she didnt think the Senate version of the FISA bill was appropriate. Some questions seemed to take her off guard, such as when one audience member asked about care packages being sent to troops, and if Congress should pass a bill to provide basic hygiene supplies to them.
Pelosi received a lot of applause for saying she supports net neutrality and the expansion of broadband into rural areas.
But when Gore took the stage, the crowd went wild, standing and cheering enthusiastically for the global warming champion. Gore came across more folksy and charming than he is remembered for being during his campaign for presidency.

Rush has a Al Gore doomsday countdown clock on his site.
The thing is, Al started saying this in 2006, so we only have seven years left.

It would be healthier for the planet if we consumed less meat, Gore said. I will plead guilty to the idea that we can only do so much at once. I myself am a meat eater and perhaps that has had an impact on my definition of the problem.
The bloviated one must suffer from bovilexia.

"It would be better for the planet if the rest of you consumed less food, and less electricity."
He looks and is demented.
KOmmie KOnvention Nutroots News!

I thought it was “Nutroots”.
“Gore said the North Polar ice cap is at risk of melting completely during the summer months, which could have devastating effects on our climate.”
but not this year.
“Arctic ice has actually increased by nearly a half million square miles over this time last year.”

Vote for Al Gorp before its Too late!!!!
Crazier than ever, in other words.
Sounds like a gathering of first class nuts there.
looks like he eats meat and everything else he gets his hands on,PIG.
And since he's become so good at stealing money from the world with his scam, stealing a show is child's play.
And his form of dementia is caused by overdosing on one's own ego.

We are all going to die!!!
In less than 120 years, every man, woman and child now living anywhere on Earth will be dead!
It's Bush's fault. Women and minorities will be hardest hit.
50000 Physicist Disbelieve Man-Made Global Warming
http://www.dailytech.com/Myth+of+Consensus+Explodes+APS+Opens+Global+Warming+Debate/article12403.htm
The American Physical Society, an organization representing nearly 50,000 physicists, has reversed its stance on climate change and is now proclaiming that many of its members disbelieve in human-induced global warming. The APS is also sponsoring public debate on the validity of global warming science. The leadership of the society had previously called the evidence for global warming “incontrovertible.”
He looks like a pasty ball of grease.
Gack!
Bozo is off his meds again and check around, a village is missing its idiot.
Yes, Yes!
And we can help save the "urt" by voting for Al Gorp, even if he is NOT running?
Buahahahahahahahah!
What a bunch of looooooooozers!
I hate to spoil the party but this is a false story. The APS has not changed its position on AGW.
www.aps.org to read their statement.
Thanks, I was looking for that!
