SHATNERFAN1706 coutering leftists.
I know it is dated, but I just learned how to post pix thanks to Freepers. Indy media has the complete story. R of radical nighbors is pretty accurate in his description.
There ya go...
NANKING
At first, I did not scroll down far enough and I thought it had not worked. All i saw was the eagle.
Seattle had one of these a few years ago. It was a vigil, and I think a dedication, to a statue of a little girl who was one of the Hiroshima “victims”.
I asked the reporter if they were also going to hold a vigil for a little girl (I looked her up but her name escapes me now) who was killed in the Pearl harbor attack. The reporter replied that she wasn’t aware that there were any civilian casualties there.
Are they still whining about that?
Some people just can’t be happy, even in the middle of summer.
The problem isn’t we used the A-Bomb on two cities in Japan. The problem is we haven’t used it enough. If we had it 6 months sooner, Berlin, Hamburg, Nuremberg and other German cities would have become nuclear waste too.
And today we should be using it on Baghdad, Basra, Tehran, Isfahan and the cities of any other people who threaten America.
What most people do not understand is that although we had a top secret program to make an atomic bomb, so did the Germans and the Japanese. The Germans had sufficient fissionable material, but didn’t have a fully working design. the Japanese had a workable design but didn’t have fissionable material. We had a design and a very meager amount of fissionable material.
In the week before Germany fell 2 submarines were loaded with most of the German uranium and plutonium, one German and one Japanese. Both set out with Japan as the destination. When Germany fell, the German sub commander sought out a US ship, surrendered and transferred his cargo the the US. The German cargo was added to our own meager supply and we then had enough for one test and two deliverable bombs. The Japanese sub never made it to Japan (good thing), if it had, one of our West Coast cities might have been the first atomic target instead of Hiroshima.
there are so many errors in your post that I don’t want to bother correcting them all. Next time do your homework.
Evidently you don’t know history at all. Try doing your homework before you find fault with someone elses.
The question is how do human being prevent Hiroshimas, wars breaking out or prevent terrorism. And the thing is, all these people are about is parading what they see is their own moral superiority. "No more Hiroshimas". Translation: I'm better than you. I care about the dropping of the atomic bombs. I care about the victims. I care more than you, you unwashed neanderthal warmonger. Therefore, I'm better than you and I ought to rule.
It's the religion of teenage guilt for people, who've never grown up. They have no way to relieve their guilty feelings, so it turns into self-hatred, and America hatred, which is self-hatred writ large.
And remember, it's not about having a real effect on the world, it's about relieving their own guilty feelings. This is why, they support politicians, like Clinton, who say the right things, then turn around and do something completely different.

Thanks to Hiroshima and Nagasaki, nuclear blasts to cities are more than theoretical, which were it otherwise, we’d never know what destructiveness to human enterprise they’d wring.
You are so right!

Also I recorded (saved on TIVO) the whole story of Japan’s atom bomb. They detonated one bomb. This was reported by David Snell.
It was on the History International channel.
