LOL!
I wish McCain would drop out and let Romney take his place. Romney is not only better looking than Obama, he actually looks presidential. He knows how to manage the economy and he knows how to us a teleprompter. Plus he knows how to get down and dirty and fight. He might not win, but at least he’d go down fighting.
Funny!
I think Mitt should be the VP candidate.
McCain/Romney.
Might actually win - (reason #1 that I doubt McCain will do it)
Republicans would rather go out like McCain. With a whimper
Look at the podium. It has the Seal of the Vice President on it. Hmm...
What a gracious, classy man.
I don’t care what anyone says, I would rather have Mitt as the Nominee than McCain. Same basic ideology but younger and with more fight and a good sense of humor.
C-SPAN Radio Correspondents Dinner
REPUBLICAN PARTY 2008
That’s Dick Cheney sitting there next to him, right?
10. The laughter drowned out everything else in my written remarks after I said, “I am a conservative.”
9. The fact that I’m a more accomplished liberal than Hillary or Barack didn’t go over well with conservatives.
8. People couldn’t figure out whether I was from Massachusetts, Utah or Michigan.
7. When I said, “I’ll do for you what I did for Massachusetts,” everyone headed for the exits.
6. Voters figured out that I wasn’t really at their events and that those were just cardboard cutouts.
5. The Chinese are having trouble with their Olympics, so I thought I would go over there and teach them how to fix the spelling on their menus.
4. I visited the McCain campaign and got brainwashed by his generals.
3. A guy can only keep track of so many lies for so long, you know?
2. I got tired of people mistaking me for TV evangelist Robert Tilton.
And finally...
1. The kids threatened to do a Jesse Jackson on me if I spent any more of their inheritance.
I’ll take “Cause I got my but kicked in the election” for $100
Well, at least the guy can poke pun at himself. A self-deprecating sense of humor is very charming. Wish he’d done more of it sooner. Reagan did it constantly.
That would actually get me interested in this election!
He’s funny. Who knew?
Sorry, I don’t support liberals. You’re mistaking me for someone else. Maybe you should go look in a mirror.
It is.
this was so funny, i still have on dvr.
The age gap is worriesome. It looms as Nixon's facial shadow did during the televised debates with Kennedy.
However, the big-eared, shallow one, offers no solutions other than failed communist crap which should ring hollow with Americans when compared to 'freedom' solutions.
Will McCain step up? Remains to be seen. On guns and securing the border, he could walk away with the prize. But, he may be too stupid.
The last few weeks included news of both candidates speaking to NAACP and La Raza. What it failed to mention was that neither candidate spoke to the NAAWP (white people), or La Honky. They delivered the boilerplate crap that each organization wanted to hear while bowing and scraping.
But what about Asian Americans? If ever America had a forgotten minority, this is it. They built railroads and helped with gold discovery. California would still be an armpit without these people! Ahso, these people build families the old-fashioned way: instill values and hard work, don't complain, etc. Just get ahead.
If an Asian candidate were to emerge with the understanding of our counrty's mission statement, I'd vote for him. My only reservation would be the tendancy to go collective that many Asian societies exhibit. Assimilation is what it is. In fact, Democrats haven't even assimalted- they suck at being Americans. They suck at being American so bad that the average voter should just out-and-out vote against them where ever they run.
If America must go down, it should be with a fight, not with a vote. Communists should have to fight to destroy the freedoms granted U.S. citizens, rather than simply constitute a majority in some stinking, bought-and-paid-for election.
Obama is the head corndog leading the way to take this country down. Therefore, I nominate Loraina Bobbit as McCain's VP. choice.
The occasion was the C-SPAN Radio Correspondents Dinner, April 16, 2008 and if you go to full-screen on the video, it IS the Vice Presidential Seal of the US.
Was VP Cheney being honored that nigh?
Vice Presidential Seal
"Seven out of eleven wives nixed the deal" claims Romney.
"My underwear does NOT need to be an issue."
Dick Cheney is sitting right by the podium - it’s for VP Cheney.
I think it was a Vice Presidential event .. and isn’t that Cheney sitting to the left of the podium ..??
Yes, that’s Cheney. I’m just being mysterious!
You think McCain wishes not to win?
