Israel to warn Obama against Iraqi withdrawal
YnetNews ^

The second matter at hand is the continued presence of American troops in Iraq. Israel is concerned a hasty withdrawal by the US will strengthen Iran and further destabilize the Middle East. Obama has promised voters that, if elected, he will immediately start implementing a 16-month timetable to withdraw all American troops from Iraq. The senator has said the war there cannot be won and US involvement in Iraq is what is preventing Washington from dealing with the Al-Qaeda terror threat on the Afghan-Pakistani border and the Iranian threat.

You think he will be listening? No

That isn’t the reason for his “self absorbed” tour.

Afghanistan has no strategic value except for being the place that al Qaeda used to be based out of. By contrast, Iraq is a strategic crown jewel right in the middle of the Persian Gulf geographic region that contains 70% of the World's known oil reserves.

The Iraq War is won but can be easily lost by bugging out as Obama wants to do.

How, exactly, does Obama expect to deal with Iran by abandoning Iraq to Iran?

Obama's ignorance and inexperience is very dangerous for the future of America. (But, hey, at least Obama doesn't piss off the McCain haters.)

Israel. There’s another GOOD reason why your withdrawal plan won’t work, fool!

This is the first I recall ever noticing any public mention of Israel supporting the US military effort in Iraq, dating from the beginning of the war in 2003. It couldn't come at a better time, what with the specter of an "Osama" Obama presidency looming over the Middle East.

Contrary to what Jewish lefties in the US have propagandized, I had assumed that Israel had supported the US and the coalition in Iraq all along, but was careful about making its views known openly, for fear of being put down by "world opinion."

Democrats don't care about foreign policy.
They only care about domestic policy meaning what kind of Gubbermint handouts to get elected

Bill Clinton only cared about domestic policy
Foreign policy was either an after thought or a chance to jet around to foreign nations and hob nob with their leaders

Another chance for Obama to redefine his position ....

The man has to learn sometime that you can’t placate everyone without becoming a flip flopper. He stands for nothing except telling people what they want to hear.

I am worried because so many people are discussing policy with him as if he is already nominated.

Snobama-messiah won’t listen. He’s the all-annointed who is far smarter than us mere mortals. He and his mean jezebel wife know what is best for everyone. GAG!
