One-time GOP rivals John McCain and Rudy Giuliani bonded over hot dogs and twizzlers in front row seats by the New York Yankees dugout Sunday, providing a snapshot of a possible Republican ticket.

A reporter disguised as a fan shouted to McCain, "How about Rudy for vice president?" The presumptive Republican nominee, casually dressed in sunglasses, a collared shirt with rolled sleeves and his Navy baseball cap, just smiled and waved.

who has views far different than mine and doesn’t mean I was changing or going along with theirs.

The opinions of fans of the fags in pinstripes mean nothing. New York will vote for Barry, as will New Jersey.

Rudy is a HAS BEEN. WTF was McCain even in New York for anything other than financing, and why was he hanging out with human slime like Rudy anyway?

Part of the people,as conservatives, believe if McCain picks a conservative VP then they can pray the VP can be president. If he picks Rudi,I believe all bets are off and conservatives will just hang tough, pray, pray, pray through an Obama presidency making sure that the GOP got the message.

This election cycle is just depressing. I usually have some enthusiasm. But, this time around, I just cannot feel at all good about the prospects. I do not believe McCain will pick any kind of conservative as a running mate. I know, I know, staying home is a vote for BOH. But, I don’t have to like the choice. This is truly a clothespin year for me.

They know how to push the buttons on the anti McCain folks
to get them to posts with no facts only their hatred for McCain which exceeds Marxist Obama.

McCain was not my first tier choice but I am voting for America not for a Marxist - IslamOfascist society which Obama will give us.

They think by sitting home of voting for Roberto Barr or Carlos Baldwin who share many views of the far left being anti war, ACLU, 9/11 truthers, etc.

Wasn't Giulani the heavy favorite who didn't manage to win one single state or caucus?

He managed less than 3% of the entire primary vote and couldn't even crack 15% in Florida, where he practically lived. Is there any other state where he even got into double digits?

These are not good arguments for a VP slot.

You are not alone, FRiend. I have not been this cynical and disillusioned about any other presidential election in my life.

The way I see it, the only way Obummer loses is if he picks Hitlery as VP, thereby turning out the conservative vote big time. Only overwhelming numbers can defeat the Rats vast voter fraud machine.

You are looking into the wrong end of the telescope. The only way Obama wins is if McCain is the Republican candidate. McCain is not reaching out to conservatives, and they won't support him as they did GWB in 2000 and 2004. Truth sucks, don't it?

I know many of the McCain supporters, some personally.
on FR. They are Conservative and did not support McCain in the primary but know what is at stake.

No Arnold fan but the CA GOP fight can’t be brought to this election.

We have a war and other problems and having Obama in charge
with his Marxist friends and had said he will tear down our defense.

Hunter and Tancredo are supporting McCain because they know what is a stake and sheriff Ampayo of AZ who was supporting Romney is probably supporting McCain.

No Arnold fan but the CA GOP fight can’t be brought to this election.

It's my opinion, and that of some others, that McCain is going by the same playbook. Arnold has accomplished more for the liberal agenda in California than any democrat could have dreamed of and destroyed the state party at the same time. Some believe McCain will do the same thing on a national level. You're entitled to disagree with that but, frankly, your posts accusing conservative freepers of being "haters" or Baldwin/Barr supporters or Dem trolls is just not true and getting really old.
