THE AUDACITY OF TRUTH - CHOOSING THE NEXT PRESIDENT
At this time in America, two men are campaigning for the Presidency of the United States.
It is a time of war, a war against Islamic Jiahd, who hate America and want to destroy her. In dealing with this very real and imminent threat, both men had the opportunity earlier in their lives to travel abroad:
As a result of that travel and their experiences during it, one heard the call to serve America, the other heard the call to, by his own admission, "change" America.
As a result, in the ensuing years, one sought to befriend other American patriots in government in order to serve his country, while the other has entered government service through befriending radical domestic terrorists and hateful preachers who championed his "change" during those years.
More recently, one, because of his prior experience in the military, and his visits with the troops and their commanders in harm's way, has championed a surge that has dramatically improved our military stance in one theater of the war, Iraq, the other man, who would not so much as salute the flag during the national anthem, or wear an American flag on his lapel, calling it "false patriotism", seeks to immediately withdraw and retreat from that same theater in this war.
Now, both want to be president. My only question regarding this choise is simple...ARE YOU WE OF OUR MINDS!
TOPICS: Your Opinion/Questions

There is much to disagree with McCain on and we will have to constantly fight him and hold his feet to the fire on a number of crucial conservative issues, critical to our Republic. But on this issue, the war against Islamic Jihad, the differences are stark.

One fear I have regarding McCain's ability to govern; he listens to Democrats.
If, for instance, we had a major terrorist attack. Who will he take advise from? Will he allow people like Ted Kennedy to dictate the response?
These are very reasonable fears.

In this campaign, McCain will get the same treatment from the MSM, Left wing Bloggers and Hollywood that the Swiftboat Veterans and POWs for Truth received. The vicious attacks will also come from that traitor and former McCain Friend, John Effin Kerry.
I hope McCain will wise up before it is too late for all of us.

Not sure what difference it makes, Jeff.
For some reason, the 'powers that be' put up John McCain opposite Obama, knowing full well McCain would be a prickly choice.
I think the 'powers that be' have hand picked a man with a Muslim name who probably is a Muslim and what are we going to do about it?....
..and I have no idea how the nation will handle this, because we are in a real mess and someday soon we will be in a real world of hurt...
..and all of this less than 10 years after 9/11 and we're suppose to be in a war against Muslims...
I'm writing in Alan Keyes....

It is a time of war, a war against Islamic Jiahd, who hate America and want to destroy her. And if the OBAMINATION IS ELECTED, it will also be a time of war....war against our economy, war against the oil and gas industry, which drives our economy, war against our constitution, war against the judicial system, war against our basic values, war against our military........

I believe in the war that he will chart his own course and that that course will be very harsh on the terrorists and anyone who supports them. I do not believe he will be swayed by the DNC on this issue at all.
Obama will absolutely appease our enemies.

Amen. Open warfare on all fronts...which the left wing DNC has been waging for years anyway...it will just be right out in the open, and much more emboldened with Hussein.

At the end of the game it boils down to integrity.
Which one has more? Which one has done something that required courage and not lies?
I do not like McCain.
However, I would not let Hussein Obama inflate my goat.

That’s a vote for Obama, which will put our military at risk. When the obamanation is crowned, the jihad will be emboldened. With little resolve to pull them completely out, or reinforce them, we will take more military casualties.

You are calling me a RINO? I am logical as well as conservative. Women are emotional and that is why we are in trouble. You want a different choice then the ones we have. IF YOU DON’T LIKE THE CHOICE, THEN YOU STILL WANT A DIFFERENT CHOICE!!

Obama is in Iraq as we speak, riding on the coatails of our brave military, and he wouldn’t be there telling everyone what should be done if it were not for President Bush, who has kept America from attack since 9/11. The President has taken the slings and arrows from Obama’s party for eight years. He has treated one and all from that party as a gentleman with courtesy. Obama has 148 days in Congress, and some time as a Chicago block organizer background. He is NOT QUALIFIED for anything, much less the leader of the free world. Obama travels there with full press from the MSM and is acting like he already has been elected. I did forget to say he reads a teleprompter well.

“he wouldn’t be there telling everyone what should be done if it were not for President Bush.”
Damn, you nailed it. That is the money response. For as much BS as W has taken since 9/11, he sure as hell stayed the course — God Bless him for that.
The difference is obvious when W travels to military bases, no one has to make it mandatory to attend — we used to flock to his events or an opportunity to hear him speak.
I still hear his words almost everyday; “I can hear you, the rest of the world hears you. And the people who knocked these buildings down will hear all of us soon.” Well, he has been steady kicking their a#@ ever since.

Yes, you made good points. But, the other points that need to be made, that are being lost in this argument, is Obama’s “experience”.
McCain needs to visit Chicago this week, and highlight one of those “accomplishments”: “Grove Parc Plaza”.

Obama is filth. The worst sort. And like his predecessors, he’s made no bones about what he intends to do. “Civilian security force”, indeed. But unlike those who lived in the 1932 thousands of miles away, we will not accept this this dicatator in waiting. We will not wait for them to come for us. We will come for them.

Yes, the National Secureity Force...or, IOW, Obama's very own Special Security Force..his "SS".
The quote he gave when proposing this, which is not to be heard or found on the MSM these days, is chilling. We "need" he said, an internal security force as large or larger, as well armed, as our regular military.
But such a force, if it ever were attempted, would not help him or his marxist domestic enemy friends, or his black liberation militants achieve their perverse goals.

Both candidates have been handily selected (once again) by the CFR. They'll go along with the status quo or pay the ultimate price. (like JFK) Any appearance of differences in ideology are merely smoke and mirrors designed to either inspire or confuse the electorate. We sit here arguing among ourselves on whether McCain is representing our best interests while squinting to see through the wool over our eyes.

I haven’t read anything about her parents that I recall. We know that she actually lived at Jesse Jackson’s house for however long.
It’s my experience that you get your prejudices from your parents - upbringing. It’s hard to change them once they are instilled in you.
