Suburban mom to Obama: Help with my daughters in Middle East

A Midlothian woman appealed today for Sen. Barack Obama’s help, asking the Democratic presidential hopeful to pay a visit during his Middle East trip this week to check up on the well-being of her four young daughters on the West Bank.
Colleen Davis Bargouthi said she is desperate to make contact with her daughters, Emily, Hannah, Amanda and Sarah, ages 6 to 11, who she said are being held by her Palestinian husband there with the intention of forcing them into arranged marriages.

“My heart breaks everyday we are apart,” she said at a Chicago news conference.
Bargouthi, a cab driver, said what was supposed to have been a short visit in June 2007 to her husband’s family on the West Bank stretched until May and ended in domestic violence, threats of murder and her expulsion from her in-laws’ house by her husband, Yasser Shibli Bargouthi Yasser.
Yasser has obtained Palestinian passports for the couple’s daughters and intends to raise them in the Middle East, despite their previous upbringing in the United States, Bargouthi said. Except for a recent phone call, Bargouthi said Yasser has kept her from contacting the girls.
Yasser has also been planning arranged marriages for his daughters and is planning to remarry, according to Bargouthi.

The moo men flatter these females. I think they are very romantic up front. Stupid women. We see this again and again. These men are willing to patiently wait a few years until they have a brood and then suggest a trip to the old country to visit family and then spring the trap.

That is right...all females everywhere: Don’t hang out with don’t stay out with don’t get stuck alone with and of course marry those Muslims. They are insane. Not just the Pali muslim types.
I’ve been contacted by so many of these guys via Yahoo Messenger over the past 8 years. They are all over the internet like white on rice. I’ve even had them contact me in Christian chat rooms.
I don’t speak to people in other countries. These guys will tell you that they are in the U.S. I’ll extract their city and state from them and the majority of the time they get it wrong (wrong city in wrong state).
The ULTIMATE test is to ask them what their favorite football team is. They ALWAYS name a soccer team. Bingo! You’re lying and I’m blocking you from contacting me!
If they admit that they are in a Middle Eastern country I will ask them if they are Mooslim or Christian. 99% of the time they will reply Mooslim. I block these too!
As a mother of 3 girls, my heart aches for those little ones, but what the heck is the “Messiah” supposed to do?

Bargouthi’s daughter’s range in age from five to 11 years old and traveled with their 15-year-old brother, mother and father to his native Palestine in June of 2007 to visit their grandmother.
The visit was supposed to be just a six weeks long. The woman says it was around Christmas 2007, after she repeatedly requested to come back to the United States, that her 38-year-old husband Yasser - who she had been married to for 15 years - abruptly announced he was keeping the girls with him in Ramallah and then threw her out of his family’s home.
“My husband put two guns to my head and told me I could pick which gun I wanted to be killed with, which one would be better aim and would kill me more quickly and he made it clear that he could kill me and no one would know the difference,” said Bargouthi.
Bargouthi says her husband eventually allowed her and the son from her first marriage Yasser legally adopted to leave.
“He would physically punish me and treat me so much differently. It all came out of him,” said Rick Bargouthi.
Bargouthi says the United States State Department has said because of the political instability of the region it can do little to help.
Bargouthi then contacted Obama’s senator office about conducting a welfare check on the girls.
Senator Obama’s office issued a statement signed by Michael Ortiz which reads in part, “our office will do everything in its power to ensure that the State Department gives this case the attention that it deserves and that the investigation is conducted in a time sensitive and thorough manner.”
“And to know that an American icon, respected throughout the world, speaking on behalf of and trying to reconcile all sides in this conflict is within miles or yards, we don’t know, of their house, and will not raise the issue,” said Bob Pavich, Barghouti attorney.
Bargouthi says her husband has divorced her in his native Palestine and plans to remarry a Muslim woman.
In the last few months, Barghouti has been allowed to monitor phone conversations with the girls.
ABC7 made several phone calls to the United States State Department and the representative Barghouti contacted. They did not return the calls.

It has been my experience, as I’ve known a few of these types of women, that the Muzzie men choose either reasonably fat or reasonably ugly, or both, women to woo, as they feel so insecure and inferior already that any man who pays attention to them is fine by them. And it seems the outcome always ends up about the same. Treated shabbily by the husband, eventually dumps them and goes back to the Mid East, and often swipes the children to take back with him. These men are very clever as to whom they prey upon, those that they know will be vulnerable to their “charms”.
She coulda done better...Them Texans talk funny...I'm sure your daughter is pretty AND smart...She coulda landed a guy from the north country...
I think the real story here is the fact that Obama was contacted to "save" the woman and her daughters.
It's entirely possible that Muslim politicians and imams in the region will put pressure on the husband to release all or some of the girls to make the Democrat candidate-presumptive look good.
It's entirely possible, also, that this is a set-up of some kind. Never underestimate the audacity and evil machinations of the False Messiah and the Machiavellian operatives who surround and support him. Maybe a quiet payoff from some billionaire Obama backer will salve the feelings of the father and obtain the children's release.
Maybe, maybe, maybe......who knows what the Muslims worldwide (or Soros) will do to make it look like their candidate can indeed work miracles.
The timing of this tough luck story caught my attention immediately. Plus the statement of the State Department obliquely and tersely referred to in the article doesn't ring true with me at all.
The State Department is a slippery entity all of its own, but still, the negative statement is not typical of what State releases in situations like this.

Rich Saudis, after the first tribally obligatory marriage to a cousin get their women from the non-Arabian Muslim world. It's a hard sell, but Bosnian, Albanian, Turkish, Morroccan, Egyptian and Syrian breeding stock is highly prized. If divorced, they have no custody rights, so many foreign women remain in Saudi Arabia so they can be close to the kids.
The law also requires them to be properly supported. So there they sit, in limbo. Sometimes they manage to grab the kids and escape, but it's rare. Our law can do nothing for them.
