The blatant bias of the major national news media toward Barack Obama is now so overwhelming that it would not be worth noting, except that the election of a President of the United States is involved. It is a propaganda blitz that would make the Kremlin blush.
By election day, we fully expect John McCain to be vilified as a Vietnam-era war criminal and worse. But that is only if the networks and other major media can tear themselves away from their Obama orgy.
A recent report found that since June the nightly newscasts of NBC, CBS, and ABC combined have spent 114 minutes covering Obama. McCain got 48 minutes.
But that was before this week.
The three major television networks are all scheduled to send their nightly news star "anchors'' to follow Obama on his trip to Iraq and the Middle East.
When was the last time you saw ANY of the networks do this with Sen. McCain?
If you can't recall, it is because it hasn't happened. McCain, who knows and understands and is intimately familiar with Iraq and Mideast issues, has been there many times, with little fanfare. It is because he understands these issues that he was able to argue so effectively for the surge that has dramatically improved the Iraqi situation.
The outrageous imbalance in the major media's coverage of the candidates means that the American people are going to have to work doubly hard to make the right choice in these perilous times.
I don't believe Obama is a Hitler but I do believe he's a dangerous fool. Seeing this unfold before my eyes gives an all too real understanding how personalities such as Hitler come to power. Shear blind faith in "change" by a public driven by emotions and in full denial of reality. That if ignored all the ugliness of the world will simply fade away and peace will prevail...
You just pretty well summed up the last Oz election.
“I don’t believe Obama is a Hitler but I do believe he’s a dangerous fool. Seeing this unfold before my eyes gives an all too real understanding how personalities such as Hitler come to power. Shear blind faith in “change” by a public driven by emotions and in full denial of reality. That if ignored all the ugliness of the world will simply fade away and peace will prevail...”
Perfectly put, especially the last two sentences above. Scary, isn’t it....
They keep saying that McCain Baited Obama into going to Iraq and now he is Paying the price and I could see the editiorial depts of Obamas Press secretaries saying ok lets stick it to McCain and really pump this .
Well yeah they are pumping it but thats because they have to ,this guy is an idiot,he went to Iraq because he had to ,He does not have a Clue thats why he needs 300 advisors to give him questions and answers every day . But did you HEAR the clip of the interview on ABC where he was asked If he knew then what he knows now would he vote differently
on the surge ,WELL if you dont think this guy is retarded just LISTEN to the answer and you will know why he wont do Town Hall Meetings ,this guy is a real DUNCE
The problem is, most of those people seem to work for the media, or spend most of their time watching the tube.
Obama is all about non-specifics, and with a thinking, mature electorate, he wouldn't last a minute. But folks I encounter are absolutely offended--yep, offended--when you try to flesh out their vague ideas about him. How dare you, they seem to be saying, you're killing my buzz.
He's like the post-assassination JFK--someone who is just a sketch you can color in as you see fit. It's when facts and positions are supplied that people who hunger for some celebrity or celebri-pol to be their substitute messiage get mad--not at themselves for not having the guts to think, but at YOU for ruining their childish idolatry.
True! It’s like we are living out a bad novel.
They played that on Fox, and as Krauthammer said; it’s complete gibberish.
I think there should be an ad campaign consisting of nothing but clips of Obama talking. In this one the clip would play, then on the screen would appear: Q: What did Obama just say? Then they play the clip again, and on the screen you see: A: Nothing.
Hey, you’re killing my buzz!! :^)
“I dont believe Obama is a Hitler”
But what about George Soros?
You describe it so well... That's just what I see around here.

First off, the obvious network bias has to be turning a lot of people off. It should also be solidifying support for McCain.
Also, the networks are undermining any credibility they might have left with this type of coverage. In the longer run, this will mark their demise.
Finally, ask yourself, who is actually watching this propaganda spectacle? Even the obamanauts must be getting tired of all the adulation.
It's the liberal perspective.... BHO says he will end the war in Iraq. That doesn't mean victory and a unilateral ending of the war would be seen by the other side as capitulation on our part. But in the liberal world, Iraq was edenic before our invasion and will simply return to that state, and we have no enemies, only peoples we haven't sat down and had a good talk with....
They have to be pretty stupid to not see that media is all Obama all the time, so are talks shows, late night shows, and other hollywierdo jibber jabber.
Sooner or later they will figure out something isn't right, that media is forcing him on them.
here is abc on McCains recent trip abroad:
ROBIN ROBERTS: So, why is Senator McCain abroad when Americans are focused on the economy here at home and losing jobs, more and more jobs, as Bianna just reported?
And here is CBS on Obamas trip:
COURIC: Good evening, everyone. Barack Obama, the presumptive Democratic nominee for President, is about to begin a major overseas tour designed to bolster his foreign policy and national security resume, and help him be seen as a credible Commander-in-Chief and potential leader of the free world. Senator Obama will be visiting two countries where America is at war: Iraq and Afghanistan. He'll also make stops in Israel and Jordan and in Europe. He'll talk with the leaders of Britain, France, and Germany. Our senior political correspondent Jeff Greenfield tells us there is a lot riding on this trip.

I was afraid this was another Larry Sinclair story.
[Barack Obama, the presumptive Democratic nominee for President, is about to begin a major overseas tour designed to bolster his foreign policy and national security resume, and help him be seen as a credible Commander-in-Chief and potential leader of the free world.]
In other words, B Hussein O has to use propaganda to fool you into believing his has any foreign policy experience and is a credible CIC. The media is trying to prop him up b/c there is nothing there.
...”I don’t believe Obama is a Hitler but I do believe he’s a dangerous fool.”...
I agree, but will extend your description of Obama as an arrogant, condescending elitist snob, which, combined with his utter lack of experience and judgement, make him a dangerous fool. The media have elevated Obama - Ivy League, Chicago Law professor, etc - way beyond what he has actually done, which was undoubtedly aided by Affirmative Action. He simply is not as smart as he is being made out to be. They did that with the Clintons, too, and it eventually gave us 9/11. The USA cannot afford to make this mistake again, in the era of islamic jihad and nuclear weapons. Obama as President would be a danger to us all - including his delusional supporters.
On one media board, they had a comments section, and some jerk actually said the reason the media doesn’t cover McCain is that he’s boring and the GOP is dead, so there’s no interest. And that if the GOP wanted to complain about media coverage, then they should have picked a more interesting candidate and maybe they would have got the coverage.
Blaming the GOP for the press basically worshipping the ground Obambi walks on.
Sheesh.
abc-nbc-cbs = Pravda of Amerika
