SEN. JOHN MCCAIN speaks at a town hall meeting in Rochester today. There, citizens can question a man who might be the next President of the United States. And if you've ever seen McCain at a town hall meeting, you know that anyone with a hostile question usually gets called on first.
That's one of the reasons McCain won the New Hampshire primary -- twice. He isn't afraid to face the voters directly and answer them honestly.
We wish we could say the same for his opponent in this important presidential election. But while McCain is answering voters' questions, Sen. Barack Obama will be somewhere on the other side of the world, playing to his real constituency -- those sophisticated non-Americans who speak multiple languages and eat organic arugula.

Seems Obama might be losing some of his magic.
It's almost like Obama thinks he's won already.
Attention: Just don’t ask him a question about illegal immigration. You will get booted from the room.
Since McCain was rejected by “The Race”, he ought to burn them, but he won’t.
...and quickly removed from the venue so that others know better than to ask anything controversial.
Didn't McCain, Lieberman and Graham just galavant across Europe and the Middle-East?
I think it was the Men-In-Black tour. ;-)
Interesting. This is less than 20 miles from Romney’s summer cottage where he’s staying at right now.
Wow, didn’t see that pic before, but it confirms a statement I made yesterday here on FR about the orientation and position of Lindsey Grahamnesty in relation to McCain’s rear end.
Yeah, they did, but they didn't have the fawning, salivating media soiling themselves to follow them around.
They just had Pansy Graham swishing his skirts along behind them. LOL
hmmmm
McCain should take a stool with him to each townhall and have Obama’s picture or name on it. This would shed light on an empty suit in an empty chair.
PS I heard this this AM, I didn’t think of it first.
McCain is kicking himself for taking his tour during the Dem primary.
He probably would have gotten more coverage if he had waited until the nominees were picked.
They just had Pansy Graham swishing his skirts along behind them. LOL
LOL. Common positioning.
If this were the other way around and McCain spent many days over there while Obama were here dealing with domestic issues, you can imagine the news and editorial headlines then. Obama would say he is staying in the US listening to people who need their problems solved while that evil Republican is over in Iraq ignoring the economy and other crises here at home, blah blah blah.
“McCain should take a stool with him to each townhall...”
I’d like to improve on this a bit. If you really want to drive the point home, why not just hang an empty suit on a rack on the left side of the stage...” :)
“Romneys summer cottage”
You must be referring to his 11 acre waterfront estate in Wolfeboro valued at over $10 million.

why not just hang an empty playsuit for a 5 yr old on a rack on the left side of the stage...
Well, ass position is a usual place for Linseed indeed!
It is a shame McCain has some of the stupid lib positions. While Barry is overseas campaigning to everyone but American voters, McCain could have been pushing drilling all over the place, stopping illegal immigration, and letting voters know that he was going to save them a hell of a lot of money by exposing the fraud of Gorebal warming etc.
bringing down gas prices, lowering taxes.....geesh
Wasted time. McCain may wake up one of these days.
I’ve trolled for many a fish right by there
also travelled to Wolfeboro 6 days a week to high school which was right on the lake and worked my summers on Lake Winnepsaukee
beautiful up there in the summer and fall
