Obama to Israel: Put Terrorism in Context
Washington, D.C. (July 22, 2008) -- The Republican Jewish Coalition (RJC) issued the following statement today:
"Senator Obama in Jordan today said that terrorism makes 'Israelis want to dig in and simply think about their own security regardless of what's going on beyond their borders.' What Senator Obama fails to recognize is that the safety and security of its citizenry is the primary obligation of a country's leadership.
In essence, Senator Obama is asking Israelis and the American Jewish community to put terrorism in context. Senator Obama continues his rhetoric of moral equivalence by implying that measures taken by Israel to protect its citizens are on par with the Palestinians' frustration at border checkpoints. Senator Obama's attempt at even-handed diplomacy fails to hold Palestinians accountable for using terrorist tactics against innocent Israeli citizens as a means to achieve their ends."

So before they decide to try to protect the Isreali citizens while doing things like eating a pizza place, or getting a cup of coffee, or riding the bus to work, they must sit back and look at what is going on beyond their borders?
That answers Obama’s position on another 09/11. Before taking the people to task who do this terrible deed, we must look at the rest of the world who could give a crap about us.
I wish he didn’t speak so “intellectually” because to be honest, most of his voting base can’t understand a damn word he says. He just “sounds smart”.

I keep having nightmares about Obama stepping way out of line and causing long term diplomatic damage. Obama thinks that by lecturing governments he’s going to end up controlling how things are done.
Lately I’ve been thinking a lot about China and how they might react to other countries who try to influence their domestic and international policy. They have a history of being colonized and bullied by foreign powers and I wonder if at some point they might get pushed too far and end up attacking the country whose leader dared to tell them about how things should be done.
