July 22 2008 The Day Obama Lost The Elections
July 22 2008 | jveritas

Posted on 07/22/2008 6:42:52 PM PDT by jveritas

Today Obama was asked if the US troops surge was the most important factor in our success in Iraq and Obama said that he cannot say that but he attributed the major success we have had in Iraq to the Sunni rebellion against Al Qaeda terrorists and the ceasefire declared by Moqtada Al Sadr and his terrorist group.

Obama did not attribute our amazing Victory in Iraq to the incredible professionalism, bravery, and sacrifice of our US troops. By doing so he made the ultimate fatal mistake of his campaign and for this it is impossible that he will be elected President and Commander in Chief.

All the way until November 4 2008 The liberal media and the left wing lunatics can delude themselves and live in the euphoria that Obama will be President but at the end of that Elections Night defeatist and socialist Obama will be utterly defeated. No matter how hard the liberal media tries to cheat, spin and influence the public opinion the fact remains that the majority of the American voters will not believe them and will never elect such a defeatist and socialist to be President and Commander in Chief when he has not given the ultimate credit of our great Victory in Iraq to the most formidable and powerful military force in history of mankind, our US military.

Congratulations to John McCain the next President and Commander in Chief of our Great United States of America.

Good point, but will it take? What with the MSM making every effort to puff him up, the public may never hear nor understand the significance. That’s our big problem.

That’s not all. When America learns the truth about Obama, about his friends, about his ideology, about his history, about his religion, and that he is not constitutionally qualified to become president, they will choose John McCain as President and Commander in Chief of America and all loyal Americans.

It's amazing to watch the MSM effort, all the while Obama sinks in the polls. Have you noticed, they are now tied in any poll that is worth its salt........after all that free MSM campaign publicity. Obambi is not selling and John McCain is perhaps the luckiest politician ever in having Obambi as his opponent.

Well, first, whenever this bozo has to think standing up, he mutters a bunch of incoherent and disjointed clauses. It's been thus from the beginning. That hasn't seemed to matter. He gets a free ride from the entire press corps.

If he were Dan Quayle, who, in real life, was(is) quite coherent, he would have been ridiculed out of politics by now.

Second, no socialist loses these days because he denigrates the military.

Third, it would be nice if the Republicans actually had a candidate this year. We don't. Obama has every chance, although he should have been buried by now.

In my dreams, Obama is driving an ice-cream truck and moonlighting for Pizza Hut... in my dreams John McCain is less of a liberal than Joe Lieberman. and in my dreams, somebody who cares more about the country than themselves becomes the next President of the United States. But then I wake up... good luck on that whole "the presidential campaign is lost for Obama" thing. I pray you're right.

Obambi is a weak candidate. Unfortunately his opponent isn't a strong enough candidate to guarantee the American public sees what you do.

It's still a toss up, but I think the election leans McCain at this point. You are right to point out the folly of what Obambi said today, but it ain't over yet.

The presidential election cycle has an infrastructure that makes it difficult to get much traction until after Labor Day. Most folks are doing the vacation thing right now. Only the junkies are interested in the campaigns right now. The Summer Olympics will suck up about two weeks in August. Then the conventions. Sooo....everything will start moving after Labor Day.

McCain is putting his organization in place right now with the help of the RNC. Come September, Obama will get tagged and will lose in November.

I don't think that will cost him a great deal that he hasn't already lost, frankly. But it, and the exquisite embarrassment this Magical Misery Tour is turning out to be will probably cause a change in MSM tactics.

They'll start hammering on It's The Economy Stupid. That won for them - I'm referring to the MSM and their tool Clinton here - in 1992. They'll continue hammering on The Dream and shrilly denouncing anyone who questions the boy king as a racist. Iraq...never happened.

Yeah, Barry, wasn't that amazing!? One day these folks just decided to do what was right. The fact that our forces were there really had nothing at all to do with this. It would have happened anyway. In fact, our presence probably delayed it. (Now, I pause to barf...)

Good point.

I wish someone would call Obammie the Commie what he is: a traitor.

He voted against the surge and said it wouldn't work.

Now he admits that it has worked.

That the surge worked means that it prevent the loss of American lives.

Today he was asked whether he would change his stance on the surge if he knew then what he knew now. He said that he would not, because he wanted to use the issue for politics against the President.

In short, he was saying he is willing to let American soldiers die for the sake of his stupid, Leftist, hate-filled political bickering.

That, to me, is treasonous.

I disagree. The fact that Obammie the Commie keeps dwelling on Afghanistan is proof positive that he knows Iraq is his Achilles heel. McCain needs to keep dwelling on it like he did today. I don't like McCain very much, but he had a zinger today that cut Obammie to the quick. McCain said that he'd rather lose the election to win the war but Obammie wouldn't mind losing the war to win the election.

This was a response and attack in line with what conservatives need to do as Horowitz outlines in the Art of Political Warfare.

The latest Rasmussen national poll says that 74 percent of Democrats are for Obama. While 88 percent of Republicans are for McCain. If they add leaners to the numbers then 77 percent of Democrats are for Obama and 91 percent of Republicans are for McCain.

The poll also showed that McCain has a nine percent lead in independent voters. And if you add in leaners McCain has a 23 point lead in independent voters.

Yet Rasmussen has the race as a tie. How could that be?

If McCain has 88 percent of Republicans while Obama only has 74 percent of Democrats and McCain has a 9 point lead with independents how could this be a tie.

There is only one possible answer. Rasmussen is poling 39 percent Democrats, 34 percent independents and 27 percent Republicans.

But we know from 2000 and 2004 that the number of Democrat and Republican voters are about the same. So McCain has to have at least 10 point lead. And Rasmussen says if you count the independent leaners then McCain has a 23 point lead among independents. Yet he says the race is tied.

That has to be bull crap with a capital B. Either McCain does not have the leads Rasmussen says he has among groups or the race is not tied, and McCain has a big lead.

Lets look at what Obama is doing. Every poll says the number one issue is the Economy and the Economy is about the price of GASOLINE. Why is Obama talking about a won war that he opposed? Because he dares not talk about Gasoline and how his parties solution is NOT TO DRILL.

On top of that Obama is not likable. He looks down his nose at people and tells them how wonderful he is. The media loves him because he is very leftists and it is all about him.

The media certainly helped Obama get the nomination. But consider this. He out spent Hillary 3 to 1, had a larger more professionals staff and lots more volunteers.. yet after Obama had the nomination sewed up, Hillary won 6 or the last seven primaries.

For the first time in my life, I have heard white working class Democrat after white working class democrat tell me they will not vote for Obama. But that is not the first time for that. What is for the first time is they say they are going to vote for McCain.

They are not all that fond of McCain. It is just anybody other than Obama.

The polls do show that Obama only has 77 percent of Democrats for him. McCain has 91 percent of Republicans. I believe that at least 10 and perhaps 14 percent of Democrats will vote for McCain.

Obama can win the media but not much else.

Think about the 14 percent approval rating of congress. Don't be surprised if the white working class Democrats give us a Republican congress.

Obamessiah claims it was not the surge of our courageous troops that brought about the improvements, yet the fool is strutting around after one short visit to Afghanistan calling for increasing troops in Afghanistan to bring about reduction in the 'chaos'.

And the stoopid voters who will vote for this empty suit full of stinky crap haven't the brains to realize the numerous contradictions this fool makes with nearly every day's proclamations!

It is sad that liberalism has infected so many black people that they cannot see the power of a smart, conservative black man like Michael Steele or a proven genius like Condi Rice, and instead go orgasmic over the empty suit, obamessiah.

Barack Obama, July 14, 2008 New York Times op-ed

“Iraq’s leaders have failed to invest tens of billions of dollars in oil revenues in rebuilding their own country, and they have not reached the political accommodation that was the stated purpose of the surge.”

Barack Obama, July 21, 2008, interview with ABC News’ Terry Moran

“I think that I did not anticipate, and I think this is a fair characterization, the convergence not only of the surge but the Sunni awakening in which a whole host of Sunni tribal leaders decided that they had had enough with al Qaeda, in the Shi’a community the militias standing down to some degrees. So what you had is a combination of political factors inside of Iraq that then came right at the same time as terrific work by our troops... I am glad that in fact those political dynamic shifted at the same time that our troops did outstanding work.”

One week ago, the Iraqis had not achieved political reconciliation, but it was Iraqi political reconciliation that allowed the surge to work over the past year.

Everybody should spread these two quotes as widely as possible.

The fact that Obammie the Commie keeps dwelling on Afghanistan is proof positive that he knows Iraq is his Achilles heel.

The war in Iraq is over. The war in Afghanistan is nearly over. The press is building up the threat in Afghanistan to make Bush look bad and to allow Obama a chance to say he turned it around. All McCain has to say is that Obama and Bush's and McCain's stances on Iraq and Afghanistan are the same now. Praise Obama for coming around to their way of thinking and move on to the differences between them onENERGY

July 22:

CALLER: I’m glad you took my call. I’m sitting up here with my head about to blow up listening to Barack Obama saying knowing what he know about the surge, you know, would he support it, and knowing what he know, and he said no, no. The surge wasn’t meant for more than that purpose, to save lives. The soldiers, how many soldiers, thousands of Iraqis’ lives have been saved, thousands of probably soldiers lives have been saved, and he said he wouldn’t support it.

RUSH: Of course not.

CALLER: And so, what does that mean? Does he care about the Iraqis? Does he care about the soldiers?

RUSH: Well, he cares that there are unemployed Iraqis. He said that in a previous sound bite. There are too many unemployed Iraqis. But you’re right. Up ‘til now, the Democrats would have been perfectly fine with Saddam still in power, with his rape rooms and torture and all that. We had no reason to go in there. They ever cared about the Iraqi people. Now all of a sudden, he cares about the unemployed Iraqi men and women. But you’re right on the money. This guy, he needed a political issue, he needed something to disagree with the Bush administration about for his campaign, for his fundraising, and he admitted it.

CALLER: And you know, I care about the surge because I’m a black man from Detroit, and I’m a Marine, I served in Vietnam from ‘65 to ‘66, and this is for my brothers that are serving now, you know, he doesn’t care anything about it, if he did, you know, he would have said he would support the surge, you understand, because it would have saved countless lives and that’s what I’m so angry about now.

RUSH: You have a right to be angry.
